Disgast complained but followed the others.
The giants surrounding their leader drew away to let him fight. He began to swing his sword around and passed it from hand to hand. Kendra could tell he was fast, he would need all of his wits about him to succeed.
Cautiously they approached each other. Looking as though he was going to stroll past Kendra the giant quickly attacked. Raising his own sword up to deflect the blow Kendra then counterattacked. The giant was just as fast and ducked out of the way. They circled each other again.
This time Kendra attacked first, one, two three blows and a cut were deflected by his opponent. One, two, three blows back, and a fourth, and a fifth. As he kept attacking the giant drove Kendra back towards the rock. Kendra deflected each blow but felt each shudder through his bones and each would have shattered a lesser sword. In fact his sword was injured all along the edges, something that was unusual, because not many people would survive long enough to counter one of his blows.
An attack caught his arm but he managed to deflect the rest of the blow and caught the giant in the side.
