They heard a scream and then a torrent of abuse from what was obviously the king, “...get them out of the camp!” he ordered the envoy.
Stumbling out of the tent the envoy looked embarrassed, “I, I am sorry but the king does not wish to see you.”
Chelnuk shouted into the tent, “You will all die anyway, even if you hand us over to Seir!”
A few seconds later a small well dressed man with a large nose peeped out of the tent flap. “What trouble you have brought on us,” he said in anguish.
“We may be able to help, if we plan well we can hold up the giant army until my father brings his plan to fruition.”
“What does your father have to do with this?” asked Jashnak.
“He is Baran the king of Aram’s champion and has fought in many battles over many hundreds of years. He is preparing to lure the enemy into a trap.”
