After their meal Kendra transported them back to the village, however he left Chralane behind praying.
They hid in the houses vacated by the villagers, except Kendra. He waited near the village well and propped his double handed sword beside him. He was there for half an hour before he felt a disturbance in the spiritual realm. Looking for Puleyn he saw the angel nod and then knew that the enemy was near.
They did not ride on horses, for they were too large. The smallest among them was 9 feet tall. Their leader was Gagran who was 12 feet tall and covered in a leather shirt. His favoured weapon was a spear nearly twice as long as Kendra.
Looking at the leader Kendra was a little concerned. He had not fought his own kind too often before. He may need to use his father's gift to get close enough, quickly enough to kill his enemy in one strike.
