Staring intently at Kendra Rephel spoke with a voice like a gushing waterfall, "Nephilim, why do you bring trouble upon the holy place?"
Kendra replied, "We are culling the giants so that they will not be such a big problem to God's chosen in the future."
"It is a blessing that you are near the ascendancy, we can reinforce at any time." Puleyn spoke to the commander who nodded, "The Lord's blessing upon you Kendra."
They spent that night in the holy place. Chralane did not cease his prayers until the following morning. Kendra slept well, almost as peacefully as in the Bosom.
At breakfast Mendro's wife served on them helped by Deela. Warm bread, goats cheese and fruit. Kendra noticed that Disgast drank wine frequently but decided to see how it would affect him before he spoke to him about it.
"Who are we going to choose for our group now?" asked Disgast, aware that Kendra was looking at him.
"Maybe we should travel to some of the villages closer to the giant's kingdom," suggested Kendra who looked around the table to see if his idea would be accepted generally.
"I know a village where the men might want to fight against the giants," said Enoch, "Temarn."
