“There have been giants there for many years, Arioch the king of Ellasar was a giant. And the surrounding nations have always employed giants in their armies.”

“You are right, but the problem is their increase in numbers and their territorial ambitions.”

“So what are we to do?”

“Puleyn has told me that we should put as many of them to death as we can, for they will cause problems for Abraham’s descendants.”

“So we, who are giants ourselves, are to kill other giants?”

“It is good sport, normal humans are too small and slow to be a real challenge in combat. When we fight them it will be on equal terms and martial skill will be the deciding factor.”

“How far away is this land?”

“A thousand miles.”

“Will it be just us?”

“I was hoping so, why ask our men to risk their lives in battles in a far away land.”

“But maybe it would be good to take a few of the able men, to teach them to be giant killers.”

Kendra considered this last statement, “Maybe you are right, I will think this over.” He stood and Gandra, seeing he had finished talking, came over to show him a doll she had.
