Episode 126: Scavengers (Olivia)

I was awakened from my rest by the sound of twigs snapping. Though I was the only one awakened by them.

I stared at the two girls but decided to let them sleep in. They needed the rest after all that happened.

I peeked outside and saw a group of men wearing dressed in brown fur rummaging around our camp as looking for food. Were they going to eat us?

"Hmm?" I gasped as one of them suddenly appeared before me. He gave me curious look and inched closer. He sniffed the air, or better yet, me.

"Uh, who are you?" I asked, preparing to fight.

"You smell nice," said the guy, flashing me a dashing smile.

"Uh, thanks? Now mind answering my question?"

The guy reached his hand out and grabbed me by the wrist, yanking me out of the tent. "You got food?" He asked as he looked inside, only to be met by a sphere of darkness.

"Who are you?" my roomates asked in unison.

The boy smirked. "The name is Kaitlin. I am the son of the leader of the tribe who rules these lands."

Kaitlin? What a strange name.
