Episode 114: The Escape Plan

"Father," Ryan said, bowing before the man.
We were escorted to a rather empty room.
Ryan quickly told his dad about his plan to escape the world and take us to one of the moons.
Meanwhile Xun, Isabel and the other took a quick nap.
I on the other hand couldn't sleep.
My father's fate was heavy on my shoulders.

"Then tomorrow we'll head out," Ryan's father said. "For now rest, son. You too, girl."
I opened my eyes, memorized that he could tell that I was faking.
"Something heavy on your mind?" Ryan said, sitting down besides me.
I opened my eyes and glanced up. "Yeah. My father. I wish to learn what became of he and uncle."
"We can learn that later. For now we should focus on escaping this dying world."
"Alright."
