Jason flashed me a radiant smile.

"You sure are a nice person."

My face flushed.

"What does that have to do with anything."

He chuckled and glanced over at the incoming taxi.

His warm hand wrapped around mine.

"Let's go."

"Al... alright."

"This is so exciting!" Elliot exclaimed, hugging Alex.

"Hands off!" his friend scolded, pushing him away.

"Ahh, you've allowed him to hug you more," I said.

"You into that?" Thalia asked, turning over to look at me.

"Uh... Thanks for buying us tickets," I said.

She scoffed. "We're in this together. At least until the time for us to do battle once more," Thalia responded, glancing outside.

"Why you dodge her question?" Elliot asked. "And what did she mean by 'that'?"

Jason, who sat to my left, chuckled.

"She's just like those other girls who fan-girl around us," Alex responded, leaning his head against the window.

"Ohh. Well... this is awkward."

"Now you know why I didn't want to respond!" I yelled, face bright red.

My childhood friend snickered. "You sure haven't changed."

I couldn't help but smile. Jason was never one to criticize. 

Honestly, it was kind of creepy how perfect he was.
