Suddenly, we're attacked from all angles.

A silver-haired boy with wires runs at us, throwing the weapons into the air.

I back away and duck as the wire hit a three behind us.

One of the guy's teammates, a blond haired boy with lime-green eyes, grinned.

He touched his partner's wires, sending electricity flowing through them.

"Thinking that metal and lightning can stop me?" Elliot asked, grinning. "It's not like I haven't seen this strategy before!"

He charged at the two boys but is blocked by a girl wielding icy blades. She spun around as she continued to block his fists, cutting his with the blades.

Elliot jumped back, grimacing as blood rolled down his arm.

Thalia wiped his cut with her shadows.

"Why did you do that?" I asked.

"His cut would've frozen over soon if I didn't."
