Episode 109: Frozen Tears (Olivia)

"I'll tell you along the way," I said, wiping away my frozen tears. "We got to get everyone to safety."

"We're going to Ryan's place," Thalia said.

"Thalia, did you find your brother?" her father asked.

She grimaced. "I... saw him, but I'm not sure what became of him. Though for all I care, he can be dead. That guy tried to capture us. Well, specifically Olivia."

"Why her?" her mother asked.

"Like I said, I'll explain on the way," I said.

Isabelle transformed anew into her giant bird form. She was barely big enough to fit us all in so Xun made several rooms in the barrier to leave her of some of the burden.

As Isabelle flew to the plateau that Ryan called home, I explained to the villager and Thalia's parents what had happened back at my own home. How my uncle wanted to hunt me down.

"That man was the one who helped Basil then," Thali's mother said, closing her eyes. "I remember meeting him. He came to our town acting like a tutor. So in the end he wanted to corrupt our son and turn him into his pawn."

"I think that Basil is at fault," Thalia said.
