Chapter 5 Assignment Day

Everyone was wearing their best outfits. Me? I was wearing a blue dress that Tirana had forced me into and white flats that Mona had forced me into wearing.... Then finally the time had come! We took our seats in the big auditorium and one by one we were assigned. A Human Mandalorian Jedi name Aaron Vance chose Tirana and A rare humanoid species (like Master Tiplee and Master Tiplar) named Atika Montesnay chose Mona. The Ahsoka took the stage she had her speech about her decision, starting with "I'm happy to be here " and I hate to brag but she said "she reminded me of a young version of myself" 😃 Sayra looked like she was about to stand. When Ahsoka said my name I'll never forget what Sayra's face looked like. She was in shock! She eventually got chosen by a Mon Cala Jedi named Azar Domcanta. Mina hadn't got selected as a Padawan.... She would haver wait another year poor Mina. But after was probably the saddest part of they day, the goodbyes.... Mona Tirana and Myself all gathered for a hug. Ahsoka came over to tell me we had to get going. When all of a sudden a huge crash was heard over us, and battle droids started piling into the room! Aaron and Atika ran over and brought us all to safety inside a hole created in the temple floor. Tirana got hit in the shoulder by a blaster.If we had stayed and fought we probably would've been captured.... Like everyone else

"Why would the Separatists attack the Temple." I asked as I came back from the washrooms (I had changed my outfit in case of more fighting) after we had heard all the battle droids were gone. But as soon as I said it I knew the answer. "The Separtists have been trying to capture jedi padawans since the beginning of the clone wars" Ahsoka said "And since so many were here I bet they couldn't stand it" Atika added. Mona was tending to Tirana's shoulder. I walked over to them. "Is Tirana gonna be okay" I asked . "Thanks to Tirana well all be okay" said Mona. Tirana was unconsises but her Twi'Lek beauty remained. I looked at Ahsoka Aaron and Atika. "What are we gonna do" They all looked at each other. We heard a faint weep. Ahsoka and myself equipped our lightsabers, but didn't ignite them and slowly approached the sound.

"Katooni"? I asked in shock. "Ilia? Oh Ilia! Thank goodnes"! She got up and hugged me tighter then I thought the tholothian girl could. Then she noticed Ahsoka and gave her a hug too. "Oh Master Tano! I haven't seen you since the jedi crystals! I'm so glad I'm not alone" she said this all very quickly. "Come on let's join the others" Ahsoka suggested

Everyone was in shock "Katooni you seemed to be front action were there any jedi not captured???" Aaron asked "well I know General Skywalker and Kenobi weren't here in the first place. General Secura is fighting a battle on Felucia and Master Plo is helping from the skies ... But that's all I know" said Katooni. "Any Padawans, Well that Sayra put up quite a fight but she got electrocuted but she's not dead. And... Oh ya! Petro and Gungi were supposed to be here but they went with General Secura to Felucia and apparently they had got into a fight with some battle droids, so they are in the medical station orbiting Felucia." Katooni said. The Commanders all looked at each other. Tirana got up and we quickly filled her in. Then Ahsoka stood up and started towards the door. She turned back on us "If my Master taught me one thing it's to never give up" she said "and that means we are going to save those jedi". "But Master"...
