Mine and Joe's first date yesterday was amazing! It was everything I could have asked for! It would have been so cliche for Joe to take me to a restaurant for our first date, but Joe's different. He's the best! My thoughts were interrupted by my phone making a noise; it was a text from Zoe.
Zoe: Heard you and my brother went on a date last night!
I replied.
Me: Well, you heard right!
Zoe: Omg! I need to know everything! Lunch at The Olive Garden at 12:30pm?!
Me: Sure, meet you there!
I had an hour to get ready!

I had just arrived at The Olive Garden. I loved it here; it was so calm and inviting. I was wearing a pair of black leggings, a white crop top and white high top converse with simple but natural make up and a messy bun.

I saw Zoe and ran up to her to give her a hug.
"Hey!" I said, whilst hugging her.
"Hey!" Zoe said, whilst hugging me. We walked in and got taken to our table.
"What drinks can I get you?!" the waitress asked, smiling.
"I'll have a diet coke!" I replied, smiling.
"I'll have one too!" Zoe answered. The waitress smiled and walked away.
"So, what made you's go on a date?!" Zoe asked, smiling.
"Well, Joe made an agreement" I explained.
"Agreement?!" Zoe asked, confused. Suddenly, the waitress came over with our drinks.
"Can I take your food orders?!" the waitress asked as she gave us our drinks.
"I'll have the pesto pasta!" Zoe replied.
"And I'll have the tomato pasta!" I answered, smiling. The waitress nodded and walked away. After about ten minutes of random conversations, the waitress came and gave us our food.
"Anything else?!" the waitress asked, smiling.
"No thanks!" Zoe replied, smiling. The waitress nodded and walked away. We started to eat.
"So, what agreement?!" Zoe asked, going back to the original conversation.
"Basically, Joe is going to take me on four dates for four weeks, one every Friday!" I explained.
"Oooooooo!" Zoe grinned. "And?!"
"Well, after the fourth date, we'll see if I need more time or if i'm ready for the relationship!" I replied, smiling.
"So, what was the first date?!" Zoe asked, grinning.
"The cinema!" I answered, smiling.
"Is that all?!" she asked.
"But, he knew I didn't like the cinema because I didn't like sitting in the dark with loads of people around me. And, he knew I wanted to see the new film 'Truth or Dare?'. I explained. "So, he rented the room out so it was just us two!"
"Awww, that's sweet!" Zoe cooed.
"I know!" I laughed.
"Do you know what the next date is?!" she asked, beaming.
"Nope!" I said. "They're all a surprise!" We finished up our lunch and left.
"That was fun!" I said, smiling.
"Yeah, we'll definitely have to make that a regular thing!" she said, smiling.
"Definitely!" I laughed. We hugged, said our goodbyes and left. Having people recognize the effort Joe is putting in makes me feel so special!
