"Where are we going?" I asked. His bedroom was downstairs. "The guest room. I need to show you something.

When we reached the top floor, there were only three doors. The hallway was plain as well, without a single painting or picture frames. Just a lone hallway with a few doors.

Wes stood outside the guest room his face flushed pink and he nervously ran a hand through his hair. "This is the guest room, we never really use it. I- I have a surprise for you," he said. I smiled at this nervousness in his voice. It was adorable.

He slowly opened the door and led me inside. At the sight, my heart stopped. The room was bathed in only candlelight. A small bay window gave an incredible view of the full moon hanging in the night sky. There was a small bouquet of ruby roses sitting on the night stand. I was shocked beyond belief.

"Do you hate it? I'm sorry, you don't have to like it, I-" I stopped him with a kiss to his mouth, wrapping my arms tightly around him. I was close to the edge of tears. "I love it."

His face brightened immediately as he eagerly kissed me back, sending shockwaves up and down my spine. I couldn't believe he'd do this for me. It was beautiful.

He cupped my neck and brought me closer. "I wanted to show you how much I love you," he said shyly.

I traced his strong jaw with my fingers, resting my hands on either side of his face. "I know you love me," I said softly.

I breathed in the scent emitting into the room. It was musky, and it reminded me so much of Wes. He sighed deeply, moving his hands to embrace me. "I wish I had more time to spend with you. I hate myself for saying this, but I so badly just want you for myself."
