I woke up the next day with Madi and Sam laying next to me on the bed. I sat up and saw blankets draped over us. The door opened slightly and Sean's head poked through. "Morning, I'm just here to get Sam," he whispered. I nodded and smiled at him. He walked over, picked up a sleeping Sam bridal style and left the room.
I got up, grabbed a pair of joggers, a hoodie, bra, and underwear, then went into the bathroom to take a shower. After doing all of the fun bathing stuff, I hopped out and got dressed. Madi was awake when I walked out of the bathroom.
"Morning" she yawned. She rubbed her eyes and looked around. "Where's Sam?"
"Sean grabbed her a little while ago. Wanna get some food?" I asked. She nodded and we both went downstairs to the kitchen.
"Where's Roger,"I asked. She shrugged and walked over to the fridge. She pulled off a note taped to the fridge.
"He went home, his wife is sick. Looks like it's just us, Sam and Chris."
"Where's Sean and Jason?" I asked.
"Probably out on a run. Can you cook? Cause I can't."
I laughed. "Yeah, I can, sit down."I went over to the fridge and grabbed all the stuff I needed. Chris and Sam walked into the kitchen and sat down next to Madi.
"Morning" Chris leaned over to look at what I am doing. "Is that? Is that Frittata Florentine?"
I smiled and nodded. "Just how mamma used to make it."
He stood up. "Let me help." I gave him a bowl to stir while I worked at the stove.
"You can cook?" asked Madi.
"Yeah... mine and Syd's mom's taught us when we were younger before..."
"Before I left for the US and was stuck here." I finished for him.
Everyone was quiet while Chris and I finished breakfast. Giving everyone and myself a plate we dug right in. "Mhhmm this is so good Sydney." moaned Madi.
"Yeah, tastes just like how your mamma used to make it Syd," said Chris. I looked down. Chris grabbed my hand and kissed the back of my hand. "I miss them too Tesoro." I smiled at him and continued eating.
