Bloomslang is the term for a green and black venomous snake present in south Sub-sarahan Africa. It is is one of the very few poisonous snakes to have round pupils unlike vipers who have slit pupils. Bloomslang is mention in Rowling Harry Potter books but up until now I didn't think it actually meant anything. Bloomslang is a combination of two languages Dutch and Afrikaans directly translating to Tree snake. It is not have very strong venom. But please still be wary of it. If you leave it alone, it will leave you alone.
