We know some snakes are venomous and some are not, but didn't you know different venoms from different snakes affect only parts of your body?
Well there are two snakes in Africa that affect only a certain parts of your body.
The first is the Black Mamba named for the black inside of its mouth. You don't want to get this venom on your skin, but in your eyes it won't do anything except make them burn. This snake's venom cannot break down the tissue around your eyes. The snake is harmless when dead except if you touch this inside of its mouth and fangs.
The Spitting Cobra has venom that won't bother your skin, but it will bother your eyes. So if you know you are going somewhere they live be sure to wear eye protection.
