Habitat: coniferous forests mostly ponderosa pine.

Range: Wyoming, Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, and Utah. Can also be found in Mexico in the Sierra Madre Occidental.(Above) Eastern Gray Squirrel can be found anywhere in the United States and Canada.
Western Gray Squirrel
Diet: Pinecones, acorns, some berries, fungi, bark, sap, and insects.
Habitat: Woody areas with preferably coniferous trees.
ALS: Three to five young. GP: 43 days. Young are born blind, deaf, pink and naked. WT: 10 weeksRange: Northwest parts of the United States like starting in the state of Washington then Oregon, California and stopping in the Northern parts of Nevada.
Eastern Fox Squirrel
Habitat: Mixed forests
Diet: Nuts, seeds, insects, carrion, and bird eggs.
ALS: Three young.
PLS: Six after a gestation period of 44 days. Young born naked. Weaned after 8 weeks.
Found throughout the Central and Eastern Part of the United States.
