Well relax, because those things aren't true in those stories. It is a children's comedy really. I doubt a fox would ever go a fish market without being shot with a tranquilizer dart. I mean how would he not be spotted with bright red fur coat?
And bears didn't have long tails to begin with.
Secondly, if you have watched Secret of the Wings.
Yes, it's a fairy movie from Disney, you learn that frost acts like a blanket. It traps the warmth inside and blocks the cold out.
Thirdly fish don't sleep or only a few migrate. The Oceans in the Arctic and those waters under Antarctica are thriving with life all winter long.
The same goes for our lakes, ponds and streams. Cut a hole through the ice and the fish will be there.
You can watch this happened in the lion, the witch and the wardrobe and they give a very distinct picture of Lucy seeing fish still underneath the ice.
It is no wonder ice caverns are the perfect den for a polar bear mom and her cubs.
