It was Tuesday morning and I had work again and I was working the full day which was a bit of a downer, I got out of bed and walked to my bathroom and washed my face and had a quick shower, I then put my phone on charge and walked downstairs to have some breakfast which consisted of cereal and a glass of orange juice I unloaded the tumble dryer after breakfast and took the clothes into my room and when I was sorting through them to put into my wardrobe I came across my ex boyfriends jumper that I accidentally took with me from America I put it to the side on my bed and went back into the bathroom to brush my teeth, when I did that I walked out and went back over to my wardrobe and picked out some clothes to wear for the day.

When I got dressed I put my keys into my bag and put it on my back and grabbed my headphones and put on 'Heartbeat by scouting for girls' on repeat and then left the house and walked to work, when I got to work I opened the door and walked to the back room to hang up my bag but I kept my headphones in, Isla and I had go open the cafe up early so when I arrived she was already setting everything up. I ran up to her and grabbed her hands and spun her around on circles while I blasted my music from my phone on the counter "What's got you in such a good mood?" She asked me with a slight laugh and I smile "I've got a date." I smiled to her as I spun her around in a circle "With who?" She asked "Me." Isla and I stopped and turned around to see Simon standing near the door smiling at me "How long were you standing there for?" I asked him "About five minutes." He replied with his cheeky smile which made me blush. "You must have made an impression on her if she's this excited." Isla said as she wiped down the tables "Well she's made one on me." He smiled "Why are you here so early we aren't even open yet." I asked as I took the chairs down from the tables.
"I was getting bored at home and well my ex turned up last night and she hasn't left me alone since, pretty sure she followed me here to be honest." Simon said as he sat down on a chair "Y-your ex? Oh right." I mumbled "What's wrong Sav?" He asked "Nothing just a bit weird that she turned up I guess, don't know why I'm so bothered to be honest it's not like we're going out or anything." I said "Don't worry about it I would pick you over her any day." He said which made me feel slightly better "Promise?" I asked him "I promise." He smiled at me and I smiled back "You two make me sick!" Isla joked "At least I can get a date." I joked back "Um rude." She said bluntly back to me but I could tell that she was joking. "Come on we need to open up." Isla said "Fine i'll do it, and if you aren't going to buy anything then you need to leave." I told to Simon as I walked over to door to turn on our open sign "You're kicking me out?" He asked "Yeah I am." "Could you really do that though?" "Course I could." I smirked at him, I then walked back over to Simon and took hold of his hand and took him outside with me, I then let go and ran back inside of the shop and closed to door quickly. Simon turned around and looked me in the eyes and frowned 'Sorry' I mouthed to him, I then turned back around and saw Isla smiling at me I then checked my phone because it vibrated in my back pocket. 'You're so cruel you know that right?' 'Yeah but you love it 😉' I then put my phone back into my pocket and got on with work.

Liam our boss wasn't coming in for the rest of the day because he had to look after his daughter who was sick so he put Isla and I in charge of the cafe. "Music?" I asked Isla, she smirked at me and got the speakers from the back room and I connected my phone to them and started to play music from them and while I was serving I danced my way to the customers and put smiled on their faces which was something I loved to see, there was a little girl who didn't look much older than seven smiling at me so I took her hand and danced with her to the music all around the cafe, she let out the cutest laugh and I then danced my way back to her table where her parents were they smiled at me as I walked back to the counter to serve the next customer with Isla who was smiling and laughing at me for the way I was acting just now. I was putting money in the cash register when the door opened and in walked Joe with who I'm guessing was his friends we smiled at each other and I showed them all to a table where they could eat at. "I'm Savanna and I'll be your waitress for the day what can I get you?" I asked "Your number." I heard one of Joe's say he had a few tattoos on his hand and brown hair with bits of blonde in the front where it had been previously dyed.
"Sorry I don't give that out for free." I replied with a sarcastic smile "You did with me." Joe smirked at me "Um no I think that was the other way round actually." I replied "now what can I get you all?" I asked them. Once they had all ordered what they wanted I passed the piece of paper that had the orders on go Isla who passed it through to Nathan who made the food and drinks for the customers to have. I walked back over to Joe and his friends and gave them their food to eat, as I walked away I felt a hand on my wrist and when I turned around I saw that it was the man with the tattoos "Yes?" I asked him "Can I have your number please?" He asked "Jack you're such a little beg." Joe joked "Well since you said please I don't see why not, but I can't guarantee that I will answer your texts if you're going to ask me out on a date." I explained to the man who now had a name "Why not?" He asked me "Yeah why not?" Joe asked, I turned my head to Joe who was looking really confused about the whole situation, "Because I've already got a date tomorrow night." I said to them both but mainly Jack "Fine by me, just take my number in case the date doesn't turn out how you expected it to go." He smirked at me and I rolled my eyes, we swapped phones and put on each other's number I then walked away and got on with me job.
