Me: where are you? i thought you'd give me the tickets

Me: auston answer your phoneeeee

Me: auston i'm sitting on the floor at the acc

Me: and i'm bored

Me: don't leave me hanging bub

"Nat!" I hear, and when I turn to look, Auston's jogging towards me.

"You could've answered your phone." I roll my eyes, standing up.

"Sorry." he chuckles, finally reaching me.

"Nice suit." I smile, pulling him in for a hug.

"This is for you." he says, leaning back and pulling a ticket out of his suit pocket. "You could've brought a friend, y'know."

"I didn't have any friends I wanted to bring." I shrug, taking the ticket and putting it in my purse.

"Anna's your friend." he points out.

"Then she would've wanted to invite her boyfriend. And she would've hit on you guys. No thanks." I say, and Auston groans.

"Get some friends, Nat, and stop taking mine." he says, and although he's being serious I can't help but smile.

"Nice jersey." he nods, leaning back and smiling.

"Thanks, we'll match." I joke.

"I have to go. I should go." he says.

"What am I supposed to do in an empty ACC with hours to spare?" I ask, looking around. There were only a few guards talking further down, but other than that, the place looked empty.

"That's why you should've brought a friend!" Auston says, walking away.

"Auston!" I call.

"I don't know! You're the one who's lived in Toronto. Go find something to do." he shrugs, walking towards me again.

"What if I find a random dude and bring him to the game with me?" I ask with a humourous smile.

"Oh hell no, don't do that." he shakes his head.

I chuckle. "Okay. Maybe I'll go shopping." I shrug.

"Sure. Don't miss the game though." he says, and I nod.

"Good luck!" I tell him, taking him in for another hug and kissing his cheek. "And tell Mitch good luck, too!"

"You tell Mitch good luck." he rolls his eyes.

"Fine. I will." I say, taking out my phone.

"Wait! No, don't, you're gonna distract him." Auston says.

"You should've told him to come with you." I say.

"Whatever. Meet me after the game, okay?" he asks, turning around.

"Yep. Win tonight!" I urge, waving as he walks off.

As he's leaving I make sure to text Mitch.

Me: hey good luck tonight!! score a goal or something 😂

Mitch: lol thanks, I'll try

Me: I'll give you a big hug after if you do

Mitch: i'll hold you to it

Mitch: so whatcha doing

Me: i'm just chilling inside the acc..... you here?

Mitch: yeah!!!! wanna meet up?
