Chapter 24 | Worms

A smile tugged at my lips when I heard her yell. My heels were pressing hard onto her feet as I backed the waitress against the wall. Her eyes were wide with fear, tears brimming them.

"I need to borrow your uniform." I said before punching her cheek and she was out like a light.

After dressing myself as a waitress, I tucked in a piece of strand of my hair behind my ear, smiling at myself in the mirror.

Placing the small black bluetooth on my ear, I turned it on and smiled when I heard Puddin's voice. "Hey babe."

"I'm in." I said calmly, before giving out a squeal. "This is so exciting Puddin'."

He laughed heartily. "Batman missions are always extra-fun."

I heard the door open behind me and I immediately composed myself, adding the name tag Harley Quinn onto myself. Puddin' had especially made the nametag for me.

I picked up the tray onto my hands and carried them swiftly out the door, ignoring the two other waitresses inside the room. My hair was tucked neatly into a bun, inside a hat so I didn't have to worry about it being seen.

But the heart shape tattoo near my eye?

Well, people have to suck it up and deal with it.

My nerves were on edge immediately as I entered the party hall. Black suits, expensive jewels and stunning dresses filled my vision. I took a second to admire the hall, and found that it was beautifully decorated. White curtains filled the sides, and a huge chandelier swung above. Three of the walls were french windows, showing the view of the outside. The hall was elegant and blindingly white.

It needed some colour.

I smiled darkly at the thought of adding some colour.

There were guards stationed at every pillar, and I immediately started counting.

Twenty-four guards.

Oops! Almost missed one behind the pillar.

Twenty-five guards.

I balanced the tray on my palm expertly carrying it above all the people's heads.

Once I reached the buffet table, I placed the tray down and breathed a sigh, lowering my head. "Its so crowded Puddin'. Let's lessen it up." I breathed the words lowly.

He laughed into my ear and I couldn't help but myself. "Of course darlin'." I checked over my shoulder for any suspecting eyes but found none. People were chatting among themselves, with million dollar wines and champagnes balanced in their perfectly manicured hands.

I picked up the closed bowl, opening them carefully. "Twenty-five guards." I whispered.

I heard him talking to someone else in the background and I immeditely focused on my task. I smiled at the earthworms wriggling inside the bowl and tried to stifle a laugh as I picked the pale blue bowl and emptied it in the pasta and macaroni. Placing the bowl back down, I closed them quickly before looking over my shoulder again.

Still safe.

I moved to the large cake filled with chocolate coating dripping down each layer. I licked my lips, and couldn't resist the urge as I stuck my finger in the icing and licked the chocolate off my finger, giggling to myself at how delicious it tasted.

Taking the chilli pepper in my hand, I looked over my shoulder once again to check. After confirming my safety, I sprayed the pepper all over the cake, making sure to add a lot on the bottom piece because that's where most people would take a slice from.

I moved to the huge bowl of juice and peeked down on it, filled with orange juice. I looked down to my tray and took the jar of dog's pee and poured it all over the orange juice. It blended well with the colour.

I felt a presence in front of me and I quickly, moved the jar away from the bowl, placing it down on the tray. I looked up to see a snobby lady, decorated with expensive jewelleries, probably twenty and above filling her cup with orange juice.

I couldn't help but let out a laugh, catching her sharp attention.

"What are you laughing at?" She snapped, her high-pitched voice making me cringe badly. Her eyes dropped to my name-tag. "Harley Quinn?"

"Oh. Nothing." I said. "There is just a piece of macaroni in your hair." I said and walked out of the place, the girl screamed, asking someone beside her to take out the macaroni.

"Done." I muttered under my breath, my nerves were dancing with excitement.

"The party has officially begun." His voice was low, eager and dripping with satisfaction.

"Hey."

I whipped my head around to see a girl, smiling warmly at me as she handed me an empty tray, placing it on top of mine. "Keep the empty trays and bring more champagne gla-"

"AH!!! THERE ARE WORMS IN THE MACARONI." A shrill voice of a woman filled the air.

That's my cue to leave.

I turned around carrying the empty trays, leaning my head low as I walked through the stunned crowd whose eyes were fixed to the screaming bimbo.

Making my way swiftly out of the crowd, I rushed towards the back of the kitchen, making my way towards the store room and locked the door behind me. I breathed out a sigh and smiled happily at what I had just done.

"Can't wait to see ya." I said, removing the itchy hat off my bun, let my hair flow freely behind my back. Taking off my short waiter's dress, I untied the laces on the white boots required for the sickeningly ugly uniform and tossed it aside.

"Already on my way babe."

I smiled and turned the bluetooth off, tossing it into the bag and took my dress off the hanger.

With a little help from Ivy and Debby, I had managed to finally get a blue and pink long gown, that matched the colour of my hair, it was perfect and it was a surprise for my Puddin'. I had managaed to do this secretly but it was hard hiding things from him though.

I smiled at the thought of seeing his reaction when he sees me in my dress. With that, I hugged the dress to myself and pulled it on swiftly.
