Jade's POV

The Same Day A Few Hours Later

"Come on Daryl." I say quickly getting out of the car followed by my hyper dog.

He starts to run around the garden and I laugh at how cute he's being. He runs back to the car and stands by the drivers door and waits for my Dad wagging his tail happily.

"Daryl!" I shout as he gets too hyper, nearly jumping up at the car.

He runs over to me and I grab him by his collar and tell him to sit, which he does...After telling him for the third time. This dog is so disobiedient sometimes it's unreal. He's not even a puppy anymore...Even though I'll call him my baby and my puppy.

"Dad! Can we please get this thing inside?" I say glaring at Daryl who is trying to wriggle out of his collar.

My Mum and Dad eventually get out of the car and my Dad throws me the keys which he throws awkardly causing them to miss my free hand completely. They land on the ground and I groan annoyed as I kneel down and just barely manage to get them from where I am.

I turn around to unlock the door but someone next door catches my eye. She catches me looking so she smiles and waves. I smile and wave back.

"Nice dog, you know about Lauren though right?"

"Thanks Christina, and yeah I do. I've already talked to her about him."

She sticks her thumb up at me and I unlock the door and let Daryl run inside.

I go inside too, followed by my parents who are carrying Daryl's things that they bought today. Including a new bed and bowls also a few toys too.

"Hey, did you buy his food?" I ask as I sit on the sofa and cross my legs.

"Shit. I'll go get it now." My Dad says clearly annoyed.

He doesn't usually forget things, but he must have alot on his mind. We just moved and he's probably missing family.

"I'll come too." My Mum says taking her jacket off but my Dad turns around and shakes his head.

"No, you stay here. I won't be long." He says clearly pissed off but trying to act normal.

What's going on? Did I miss something? They were fine in the car so they didn't have an arguememt...Unless they had one yesterday but even then they don't carry on the next day it's all sorted before they go to bed.

"Mum?"

"Yes?" She sighs.

"What's happend, like why is Dad pissed off?"

I watch as she tries to find a way to answer but she gives me an answer, that I know for a fact is a lie. "He's not. The hot weather makes him grumpy."

I decide not to call her out on that being a lie so instead I go up to my room and lay on my bed and just think about everything.

I close my eyes for a few seconds before I feel my phone buzz in my pocket. I take it out to see a text from Lauren.

Lauren: Christina said you're home, do you wanna hang out now or later? X

Jade: I'll come over now. 🙂

In case we decide to go out somewhere I grab some money that my Mum had given me earlier which I didn't spend.

I walked downstairs and made sure I had everything.

"Going over to the Cimorelli's, we might go out or something I don't know." I say before opening the front door and walking over to the Cimorelli's.

"JADE!" Lauren shouts running over to me before I even reach her house.

"Hi Lauren.." I say shyly. Great. Just great. I honestly wish I could stop being shy but for some reason I can't.

"You okay?" She asks.

"Mmmhmm." I nod my head.

"Okay..." She says raising an eyebrow. "We're all going to the park, except my brothers. My brothers and Dad have gone for a boy's vacation or something like that. They're gone for the next two weeks."

"That's cool."

"Yeah! No annoying boys. Just us girls."

We walk to her house and the rest of the girls are waiting for us.

"LET'S GO TO THE PARK!" Dani yells excitedly. "WOO!"
