~Zac's POV~

She didn't understand!

Just because I'm a guy doesn't mean I don't cry....

Because I do...

Sometimes.

What the hell is wrong with me?!

Amber Hart is my enemy!

Right?

Damn it, I'm not sure about anything now!

"Hey um, I'm gonna see if everything is.... Baby proof before you bring them in." I tell her when I park the car.

"I can do that Zac." Amber argued. "You've done a lot."

"Amber please, let's not fight." I say.

I make the mistake of looking over at her. She's giving me the death glare.

The freaking death glare to me, Zacary River Highwood!

What is this dumbass world coming to?!

"Fine." Amber says before jumping out her door and closing it in my face. She opened Caden's door and unbuckled his car seat.

I'm no genius but I think that girl is pissed at me.

I watch as she sets the car seat on the driveway and takes Caden out, cradling him gently in her arms. Her sweet singing voice reaches my ears. I can't resist, I sneak up behind her and wrap my arms around her waist. She tenses but doesn't pull away. Her face turns to look at me. Before I know what's happening, her lips are on mine in a passionate kiss.

"Eww Daddy!" Avalon yells.

I love you Avalon but you couldn't have picked a worse moment to say ew....

Amber pulls away quickly and smiles at Avalon.

"Daddy was just.... Playing with Mommy sweetie." Amber smiles.

Well that's a big slap to my ego.... Damn.

"Out Daddy! Out!" Avalon screams, kicking the seats. "Out!"

"Okay Princess, Daddy's coming." I say.

"She's like you, you know." Amber says.

I blink.

"Me? How?" I ask confused.

"Never mind." She says. "I'm going inside."

"Yeah sure okay. Take a left and go down the hall way, the first door on your right is.... Our room...." I explain awkwardly.

"And the other room is where?"

"Farther down the hall on the left."

"Okay awesome, bring Avalon when you come inside please." Amber smiles.

At me?

No.

At Avalon.

I'm an idiot to think she'd smile at me.

So stupid.
