Harry's POV

"Yes, I'll be your girlfriend," I smiled to myself as I replayed the soft words that she spoke in my head.

"What happened to you?" Kyle mocked as he walked into the recording booth at school. I wasn't happy that I had to go to school after my dinner with Kate. I wanted to stay with her all night long, just as we had the day before. Instead we ended up just having some pasta at my place and then I drove her to her dorm on my way to school.

"She said yes," I cooed as I stretched my hands be hind my back and leaned against the chair.

"She said yes? To you? I'll be damned," Kyle obnoxiously joked taking the seat next to me and began too boot up the sound bored.

"Shut the fuck up, you ass," I said as I slapped the back of his head.

"So the plan is working then?"

"I guess," I shrugged.

I hated when he brought up 'the plan'. All it did was make me feel like an even bigger jack ass then I already was. I knew Kate wasn't going to want to be around me once she found out what I'd planned, and why I planned it. I wanted to tell her, I just didn't know when, or how for that matter. She would surly hate me once she found out and I wasn't ready to let her out of my life.

"I don't like this plan very much, though," I sighed as I placed the disgustingly clunky headphones around my neck.

"You're already in the middle of it, and why the hell not?"

"She's a pigeon," I stated.

"A pigeon? Like a fucking bird? I normally understand the weird ass terms that you use, Styles, but this one, not so much."

"A pigeon. It's a dove, an attractive girl, a winning card in poker, a pigeon," I explained, knowing he still probably didn't understand what the fuck I was talking about.

"Where the hell did you come up with that one?" he asked laughing.

"I read it somewhere," I shrugged.

"Well you need to stop reading and get your head pulled out of your ass. We have a plan, and it's working perfectly. You have her right in the palm of your hand."

"Are you too much of a hard ass to realize that she's different? Obviously this isn't like all of the other times for me."

"Since when do you actually fall for girls? For the, what, two? three years that I've know you? All I know is the Harry Styles who bags a girl and kicks her out that same night. You don't fall for people, and especially not girls like her."

"People can change for the right person," I defended. "And what the fuck is that suppose to mean 'girls like her'?"

"She's just not your type."

"Well if all you thought I could be was the guy who bags a girl and kicks her out in the same night, how the hell would I have a type then?" Kyle was pissing me off. I knew that it was my fault that I put myself in this position, but I hated how he disregarded everything. Sure, he didn't understand my pigeon analogy, but he was the one who needed to get his head out of his ass. I didn't want to go through with this plan anymore.

If I dropped the plan now and told Kate everything, she'd hopefully forgive me and still want to be with me.

"I'm not here to discuss your lame as fuck heartbreak issues, lets just get this shit done with so we can go home," Kyle groaned directing his attention to the large sound bored in front of us.
