Happy Birthday Chris! May 5th let's get it! Lol I posted this earlier and it had the wrong chappie number! This is chapter 29

Chris POV

You used to be the one I talk to on the side

Waiting for my love to break up

It's crazy how yo ass can walk through every night

Acting like you been a player

That grass ain't greener on the other side

He was dancing around to his new single that he was releasing.

"It's amazing. I love the whole storyline.", I smiled touching the board that held may buttons and other things. He looked at me for a while as I studied the studio.

"You wanna record?", he asked.

Is he serious?

"I-I....I don't know about that....", I said slyly.

"I saw that notebook with all those lyrics and poems. You got something ma. Question is....can you sing?", he asked.

"I guess.", I shrugged.

"Well go get the book.", he sat patting my back to move me toward he door.

We were at a condo he rented out while we are in Milwaukee. The condo had a built in studio and everything. I rushed to get my notebook and I hurriedly flipped to what I wrote this morning after Lucas got kicked off of the bus.

"There we go. Sing to me how you want to record.", he suggested.

I didn't really have a tune in my head, so I just went along with something.

"I have been soul searching lately. You don't come real to me baby. Lately it's you who's been switching up on me like ocean waves under a full moon. Can't even look in my eyes. Always them vs me and mines. But really your wasting my time. I was about you from 9 until 9. Infatuated with killin' my vibe. You called it love. I called it no trust. You called it real. I call it no us. Funny how worthless you made me feel. I know what my worth is. And right now I only need me......", I sung.

He and Hoody looked at me with wide eyes.

"Girl, your gifted.", Keeis said nodding. I just blushed.

They made me sit and go over my lyrics as Keeis and Hoody made a beat that would match my lyrics. Usually you get a beat and then you work your lyrics into, they told me. But it was different because I had lyrics that wouldn't just go with every beat. I even helped with making some parts of the beats.

I sat beside Chris in a wheely chair.

"You know you bout to be famous right?", he asked.

"Stawp.", I said laughing. "It's not that serious."

"It is. You have a gift. Take advantage of it.", he urged.

"Okay...", I answered.

"Your all set girl.", Hoody said walking me into the studio and putting headphones on me.

"Leave one off so you can kind of hear yourself better. Sing into the mic and go with the flow. Sing exactly how you feel. Put your thumb up when your ready.", he said patting my back.
