*AT SCHOOL*
Cami: *Sniffles*.
Sal: *Turns around* Cam, be quiet.
Cami: I'm trying!
Sal: *Rolls her eyes and turns back around, adjusting her purple cap*
Principal: Darren Shane Foster.
Darren: *Walks onto the stage and recieves his diploma*.
Sal: Darren's middle name is Shane?
Cami: *Sobs*.
Sal: *Whirls around* Cami! What the heck is your problem?
Cami: We're old! *Cries uncontrollably*.
Cheyenne: *Taps Cami on the shoulder* Dude, if you quit crying then I'll buy you ice cream after graduation.
Cami: *Immediately stops crying* Okay!
Cheyenne: *Rolls her eyes*.
Sal: *Sighs*.
Sophia: *Rushes over* Cami, couldn't you save the fake crying until after the ceremony?? *Starts fixing Cami's make-up*.
Cami: *Makes a disgusted face as Sophia works*.
Cheyenne: Fake?
Cami: Sorry, I just wanted food.
Cheyenne: WHAT.
Principal: Sally Dawn Thunder!
Cami: Wow. Never knew your middle name before.
Sal: *Rolls her eyes and walks onto the stage to recieve her diploma*.
Cheyenne: You've known her since kindergarten but never knew her middle name?
Cami: *Shrugs*.
*ONSTAGE*
Sal: THANK YOU, THANK YOU! I'd just like to say that--
Principal: Um, Sal? You don't really make a speech here.
Sal: *Ignores the principal* -- I'm so happy to have gotten the chance to get to know all of you! Even though I don't know any of your names, or what you like to do for fun, or... actually never mind, I don't know any of you and I probably hate you all. THANK YOU! *Skips off the stage*.
Principal: Um, alright... Cameron Kae James!
Cami: *Walks onto the stage and recieves her diploma* Thank you! *Starts dancing and squeals* I MADE IT, I MADE IT! TAKE THAT, DORIS!
Doris: *From the crowd* SHUT UP AND SIT DOWN, YOU HUGE FAMILY EMBARRASSMENT!
Cami: Embarrassment!? I GRADUATED HIGH SCHOOL, SHORT STACK! WHAT DID YOU DO? That's right - NOTHING.
Doris: I DID MY CHORES AND BOUGHT A GOLDFISH WITH MY OWN ALLOWANCE MONEY!
Cami: I FED THAT GOLDFISH TO MY CAT THIS MORNING!
Doris: *Gasps* MOMMY!
Cami: *Skips happily off the stage*.
Sal: That was harsh.
Cami: Your point is?
Sal: *Shakes her head*.
Principal: Let's pretend that didn't just happen... Cheyenne Marie Callahan.
Cheyenne: *Comes out, collects her diploma, and exits the stage*.
Cami: That's it?
Cheyenne: What?
