Chapter Ten
I feel kind of bad. Okay, fine, I feel very bad.
I know that Alex is a jerk and a pervert, and a nasty little dude, but still, he’s innocent. He’s not completely innocent…but you get the point. I thought that it should be fine, but right now his face is purple. Pure purple.
“Stop moving you meathead!” I snapped.
“Ow.” He complained. “Why did you punch me again?”
“Alex, I’m sure that we’ve been through this before…”
“Oh my gosh.” He jerked.
“Stop moving!” I groaned.
“No, you just said my name in a conversation.”
“…so?” I shrugged.
“It’s your first time.” He smiled. “Ow.”
“Please stop moving.” I smiled slightly and had instantly frowned.
“You can really punch for a girl.” He said with a straight face.
“I’m sorry, okay?” I sighed. “But you can’t blame me. You are a nasty pervert.”
“I am not.” He said.
“Ugh, never mind.” I said briskly and left the room. Hmm, maybe this is the perfect moment. “Hey, why don’t you just sit there and relax for the day!”
“What?”
“I mean, just relax for the day.” I said.
“O…Kay?” he looked at me blankly.
“It’s my way of saying sorry.” I said unconvincingly.
“So what am I supposed to do?”
“Just sit there…for the whole day.” I slurred. “Don’t come up stairs!”
“Why not?”
“Just don’t. Coming up stairs will strain your muscles. You should just lay there and do nothing for the day.”
“Are you feeling okay?” he looked at me with a suspicious look.
“Sure! Of course! Do I not look okay?” I think I should stop talking right now. “Anyway, bye.”
I ran up the stairs hastily and made sure that no one’s coming up before I went into his room. I still can’t believe I’m doing this.
I started by looking around aimlessly without moving an inch. Man, his room is so much neater than mine. What’s wrong with this guy? It’s so neat that I’m almost afraid to shift a single thing. I mean, even the slightest difference is obvious in here. Man, this is going to be harder than I thought, especially since he can come up any minute.
