At some point in your life, you're going to be rejected. It fucking sucks, but it's bound to happen.
Whether your crush doesn't like you back, you don't get into one of your colleges (hasn't happened to me yet but I know it's coming eventually hahahahaahah), you don't make the varsity team at you school, or you don't get the job you really wanted, it's gonna happen
literally I think rejection is in the top three worst feelings. Like even small rejections like when no one laughs at your joke and you kinda just die inside a little
Or when you have a great idea for maybe a group project or something and everyone just pushes it aside
Or when you're the only kid in the 8th grade class that tried out for the school musical who got rejected (fuck u mr.sackerman. 4 years later I'm still mad)
there is just something about the feeling of rejection that sucks so much
Lmao the first time I got rejected was in 7th grade with this boy I liked what a time.
We had been in the same class and I was getting some vibes from him and I was like okokok ;;;;)))). We would talk all the time and it was really easy and I think this guy just liked maybe being flirty with people even though they don't like them (which I understand bc literally me as fuck me as FUCK) but yeah. That whole lame me making my friend text him and causally see if he likes me thing happened and it didn't end well bc instead of being sly she straight up told him I liked him like ok that's not how this middle school dating game works, Tiffany.
So basically he said he didn't like me and then HE NEVER TALKED TO ME AGAIN LOLOLOL
LIKE WE LITERALLY STILL GO TO THE SAME SCHOOL
ITS BEEN 5 YEARS AND WE HAVENT SPOKEN A SINGLE WORD TO EACH OTHER SINCE HE FOUND OUT
Also at the exact SAME time this situation happened I rejected a guy and it was the SAME SITUATION. This kid was in the same class as me and the guy I liked and it ended up to be a rejection triangle.
But when I say the same situation I mean the same situation. He had his friend text me (FOR THE READERS WHO HAVE BEEN HERE FOR A LONG ASS TIME, THE FRIEND HE WHO TEXTED ME WAS FUCKING PHOTOGRAPHY BOY HAHAHA) and I basically told his friend "Yeah I think we're better as just friends"
AND WE HAVENT TALKED SINCE
WHY WAS 7TH GRADE SO AWKWARD THAT PPL JUAT DIDNT TALK AFTER REJECTION HAHAHAHA
Rejection sucks but honestly some times it's worth it bc the stories are so funny. Like one of my friends in college was at a party at and a guy started grinding on her and she just turned around and went "no thank you" LIKE WHAT. THATS THE MOST POLITE REJECTION IVE EVER HEARD
there's not even a point to this I've just been really scared of rejection recently bc of COLLEGE and I had a bad experience on New Years with rejecting my guy friend (hahaahhahaha awk) and somehow it got to me reminiscing into my old 7th grade self when looked like a gremlin and acted like a dumb chipmunk.
Is it just me or was 7th grade literally just the absolute worst grade ever. Everyone is awkward and for some reason everyone wss super mean in middle school. And it was so weird bc there was a mixture of some kids who hit puberty early and people who still looked like 5th graders
Do I have readers who are younger than 7th grade. That would be crazy holy cow you guys are BABIES.
