One of the wise lessons Mare has learned throughout her rather short lifetime, is to not judge someone based on their appearance
(Mare has also learned to not talk in 3rd person bc it's weird, but Mare has decided to ignore that lesson)
Obviously this includes like, don't be mean to people because of the way they look facially and body wise, but RN im talking about not assuming the personality of someone by the way they dress.
Like boy u don't know. that girl with gauges, tattoos, and black ass hair could go home and yodel 2009 Justin Bieber on the top of her lungs while knitting a pink sweater for her kitty. (By kitty i mean cat she isn't knitting a sweater for her vag)
Mayb that girl who wears floral dresses, heals, and bows goes home and fucking head bangs to slipnot so intensely she gives herself a concussion or some shit idk
Or ya know, that quiet girl with blonde hair from your school could go home and write a Rant book on wattpad, read daddy kink, and write uncomfortable cartoon smut that ruins peoples childhood
For some reason one of those examples sounds really familiar????
Story time ok
So I was in target like a few months ago right, and this giant dude, probably in his mid 40's, waits behind me on the line at Starbucks. (yes my target has a Starbucks in it. its pretty swaggy) I mean, I wasn't scared but this dude was intimidating ok
He had this long beard, this stern ass expression on his face, and looked like he was 6 ft and weighed 300 pounds (like 150 pounds of fat and 150 pounds of musclE) so obvi me, this 5'4 human, was like well shiT
but yeah the line was pretty long so I was just scrolling through insta, wattpad, ect. on my phone when the guy taps on my shoulder.
So I turn around to him, this serious ass express still on his face, and he asks me so seriously with this deep ass mother fukin voice "do you know if that secret menu cotton candy frappucino is any good?"
OK BUDDY I WASNT EXPECTING THAT LIKE
1) I WASNT EXPECTING THIS DUDE TO WANT A COTTON CANDY FRAPPUCINO
2) STARBUCKS MAKES A FUCKING COTTON CANDY FRAPPUCINO?????
so yeaH i don't know if this rant even got a lesson across but i guess just don't assume things about ppl!!!
