Chapter 9 : Wait....what?

Aphmau's POV

I opened my eyes to be greeted by a blinding streak of light coming through my bedroom window. Wait. My bedroom?
I looked around quickly, scanning my surroundings. Well, I think this is my room. Ugh, my head hurts dearly. What did I do? A stange man walked into my room, he was handsome though. Sandy colored hair, with ocean blue eyes to match. He was dressed in some type of guard outfit. I feel like I've seen him before, put I can't put my finger on it!
"Aphmau! Your awake! Are you alright?!" he said, a smile lighting up his face. What is he doing here? I mean, he's cute, BUT STILL!
"Ummm.......who are you?" I said awkwardly. his face turned crestfallen.
"B-but, it's m-me.......Garroth!" He said with a cute little stutter. But seriously, I just can't remember him! I feel like I should though.......
"I'm sorry, but I don't remember you, I need to lie down, I'm fetting a little dizzy....." His expression turned neutral as he put on his helm.
"I will see you later then.....m'lady.... " He said as he swiftly walked out if the room. What was his deal? I thought as I rested in my bed. I felt a small string of sleep tug at me, I grabbed it, and fell into a dreamless sleep.

Laurance's POV

Garroth came storming into the room, looking as though he might cry. "SHE DOESN'T REMEMBER ME!" He screamed into my face.
"relax dude, probably has amnesia...."
"still....." He said with his bottom lip sticking out in the perfect pout.
"just....go patrol the village, get your mind off of it, I'll watch over her. Go on!"
"Promise?" He said. He was really acting like a kid.
"*Sigh* I promise."
"see you later then, take care of her!" he said picking up his shield and sword at the door. He left and I started walking over to Lucinda's house. Time to call in another favor.
