Guys, I'm just so speechless about his death; words can't even describe how I feel anymore. I'm just completely heartbroken and flabbergasted about his passing. He had a stroke, leading to his pancreatic cancer diagnosis. Hopefully, there will be a cure for cancer one day, especially this one or at least a way for it to get diagnosed earlier instead of later. He was a truly brilliant, kind-hearted man; to me, he seemed to be a gentle, heartwarming, funny giant. He was an amazing actor with memorable roles in many films throughout his career. When JK Rowling wrote the series, she said she wanted no one else but Alan to play the role of Severus Snape. I agree with her on that 100% because no one else, in my eyes, can play Severus Snape as well as he did. He knew everything about the character and what would happen to play him so well. He liked and enjoyed it, and I'm so glad he decided to play the character and stay on with the series until the end.

Every single member of the cast within the series fits with each character, and none of them can be replaced, just like Alan. I have had a celebrity crush on Alan since I was a little girl, and I still do today, even if he's gone. I know I'm not the only one who crushed on this man, but I would've killed to meet him for real. Meeting him was on my bucket list; now, I'll never get that chance. My crush on Alan started because I watched HP and the Prisoner of Azkaban after it came out on DVD. My older brother and my dad watched it one day, and it caught my attention. After that movie, they saw I was very interested, so they got me to watch the first two films.

I have been hooked ever since and became a Harry Potter fan. Now I'm a Harry Potter geek for life. When the rest of the movie series came out, I went to see the rest of the films in the movie theaters with my older brother and my dad. This poor man literally acted and did roles until he physically couldn't do it anymore. Then went on to live out the rest of his life peacefully. They discovered his cancer when it was too late to do anything much about it, and that's heartbreaking to hear. One of his last movie roles ever was in the movie "Eye In The Sky," and his character was Lieutenant General Frank Benson. Two words, people, CANCER SUCKS!!! That's literally all I can mostly say when it comes to the death of this amazing, brilliant man.

I will miss Alan so much; it's not even funny. That's the best way that I can put it when it comes to writing about him. He's one of my all-time favorite actors and always has been; it always will be too. He was a terrific actor who made different characters in all his work come alive. But I know he'll be dearly missed by many people worldwide. Most of all, he will be loved...always by fans like this. I love you, Alan, you'll be in our hearts forever, and you'll continue to live in spirit.😭🪄💔🖤
