I'm on the phone with Jada and she's telling me about her and Aaron. 

That's literally all she talks about whenever we're on call.

I can tell her makes her happy.

I remember when she used to say men are embarrassing but look at her now.

The thought comes to my mind and I chuckle.

"Why are you laughing ?" she asks.

"I'm just remembering when you used to say men are embarrassing and you don't want any"

"Well...I changed my mind" she says.

We burst into laughter.

"I'm happy for you tho" I say.

"Where is my Ivy ?" she asks.

"She's sleeping with her dad"

"Only way I get to spend time with Zaidan is if Ivy is asleep" I add.

"Mi woulda jealous if a me a you enuh , mi nuh know how me aguh dweet wid Aaron" she says chuckling.

Minutes after I get off the call and head to the bedroom.

 I push the door open to see Ivy on Zaidan's neck.

"Hey...you guys woke up"

"A she wake mi" 

He takes her off his neck and holds her in his arms.

"Hey pretty girl...are you coming to mommy ?" I ask with my arms outstretched.

She lays her head on his shoulder and turns her head facing the other way.

He rocks her in his arm then chuckles.

"It's not funny...you spoil her too much"

"Anyways , I need to talk to you about something" I add.

"What's that ?"

"My father said he wants to come over today because where he lives is 2 hours of drive from here"

"Yah suh ?" he asks raising a brow.

"Yeah...where else could it be Zaidan ?"

"Mi neva know a America him live"

"He said he came last year"

"Suh di man neva did a tell yuh bare bad things bout mi ?"

"I don't remember if I told you this but he was a police years ago so he was just telling me that he knows stuff about you and your father"

"Oh...him was a government badman" he says chuckling.

I can't help but laugh too.

"I'm going to finish up some work so please keep Ivy up here" I say as I leave the room.
