Leah's POV

Monday

7:26 am

"Let me help you" 

I take the scrunchy from his hand and tie his hair back.

I like his hair. He always keeps it so moisturized.

"Yuh know seh a years mi nuh mek nobody touch mi hair besides mi hairdresser" he says as he turns around to face me.

"Oh really"

"Yeah...mi nuh too like when people touch mi hair"

"Why haven't you got it comb ?" I ask.

"Di hairdresser neva did inna Kingston" he says before putting the t-shirt over his head.

I was going to ask him why he didn't just go to a next one but then I remember what he just said.

"Well you look pretty either way"

"Pretty ?' he asks raising a brow.

"Yes your pretty" I tell him smiling.

"Man nuh pretty"

"Well I think you're pretty tho"

He shakes his head and walks over to the counter and I can tell he's hiding a smile.

He picks up the Hennessy from the counter and pours some in a glass cup then walks back over to me.

He literally has a bottle of Henessy everywhere.

"You should be ready before 8" he says bringing the glass of Hennesy to his lip.

"Okay...let me just go straighten my hair quickly then I'll be ready" I tell him as I walk away and make my way to the bedroom.

My hair is in my usual tape-ins but this time it's a side part.

After spending about 20 minutes trying to get my hair straighten the way I want it , I'm finally satisfied with how it looks.

I like this hairstyle because all I have to do is straighten and brush it then I'm ready to go. 

The door cracks open and I look around to see Zaidan.

"The drive is here" he tells me with his eyes pierced in his phone.

"Okay" 

I use my hands to fix my hair out of my face then get up from the chair.

He slides his phone into his pocket then looks up at me.

"I already bought the bags out there... let's go" he says.

He walks through the door and I walk behind him.

Once we're in the living room I see Ms.Mitchell feeding Ivy pumpkin in her high chair. 

This is the first time I'm seeing her since morning , she just woke up.

She slept through the night last night which was good for me.

"We a leave now mum" Zaidan says to her and she hugs him.

She then looks at me and walks over to me with her arms outstretched.

I smile as I hug her.

"You guys please be safe" she says after we release from the hug.

Zaidan picks up Ivy from the highchair and lifts her up in the air.

"Nuh give grandma nuh trouble enuh" he says then kisses her cheek.

I give her a kiss on the other side of cheek and she smiles.
