"Gemma," you groaned as you opened the picture she had tagged you in on Instagram with the caption 'chilling, we are @yourinstagram'. She laughed from her seat on the sofa opposite you. You were currently lazing about in the flat you shared with her in walking distance to Sheffield Hallam University where you had both met each other and quickly became great friends.

Gemma's phone buzzed and she let out a scoff. "Harry's coming over because he wants to meet you and he's on his way down to London from visiting our mum so he's passing through," you nodded and continued to tap away on your phone, texting Jack your ex-boyfriend back telling him there was no future between you both and you were sorry but all you could be was friends. You had both come to a mutual decision a couple of weeks ago but for some reason he decided he still wanted you to be in his life as more than a friend and he made a mistake. "Is that still Jack?" Gemma asked and you nodded.

"I feel bad, we had a good time together but I just don't have feelings for him. Do you think I could learn to like him as more than a friend?" You asked Gemma and she shook her head.

"Babe, you know I just want you to be happy. So I'm going to tell you the truth, no you can't. You need to be with someone you couldn't imaging living without," she said and you nodded.

"Thank Gem. I'm going to change into something more appropriate before your brother comes," you gestured down to your long black t-shirt.

"He'd love it if you were only wearing that but sure, if it makes you feel more comfortable," she laughed and you nodded. You got up from your spot on the sofa and walked into your room, pulling on a pair of gym shorts and a clean gym t-shirt. You fixed your curly hair and then wiped under your eyes wiping away any mascara that had transferred over the day.

Just as you walked out of your room, the door rang at the same time your phone rung. You decided it would just be Jack on the phone so you walked over to the door and pulled it open, Gemma walking to the door behind you. You opened it to find an extremely tall boy, with shoulder length curly hair, and plump, pink lips making you a little jealous since you were blessed with pretty thin lips.

"H! How have you been?" Gemma smiled, walking by you and bringing her brother into a hug. You walked through to the living room to give them time to themselves to reunite since Gem hadn't seen him in a while.

After a couple of minutes, they both walked into the living room and you placed your phone onto your lap. Harry came and sat on the other side of the sofa you usually sat on and Gemma lay on her sofa.

"I'm Harry," he introduced himself sticking his hand out.

"I'm Y/N. It's so lovely to finally meet you! Gemma's told me lots," I smirked at him, shaking his hand and he groaned throwing his head back. He took his hand up to his hair and ran his fingers through it making you think what it would feel like to run your fingers through it. You smiled and then shook your head. He was your best friends brother, you wouldn't put Gemma in that awkward position. You looked up at her and seen her tapping away on her phone.

"So, what has Gem told you? I hope she hasn't ruined your opinion of me," he smiled and you shook your head. Gemma locked her phone just as a text came through on your phone.

"Not too much, just your whole childhood, teenage years and some frequent stories," you laughed and he smiled, shifting his body to face you more, completely turning his back on Gemma. You ok unlocked your phone to see it was, in fact, Gemma texting you.

I'm going to excuse myself and go to the store for tea (even though we have some)... Get to know him, he thinks you're beautiful. I give you permission. I really think you'd both be great together. X

"I just need to nip down to Tesco's for tea, you'll both be ok, yeah?" She asked and Harry nodded instantly, looking over to you. You nodded and Gemma smiled, sending you a sneaky wink while she was pulling on her boots.

"Ok, first kiss?" You asked Harry. You were 15 questions into 20 questions and you had got to know him a whole lot. He loved being on the road but he missed his family and friends. He worked out religiously. His favourite places were Los Angeles, New York and Japan. The most exciting person he'd met was Ellen. And he loved tins of Mandarin segments.

"I was 11, it's was against a tree by the stream in a field in Holmes Chapel. It was extremely awkward," he laughed. You smiled as his eyes crinkled and you thought about how good it would be to have someone as sweet as Harry in your life.

"Ok, my turn. Traits you look for in a guy?" He asked and you raised your eyebrows thinking.

"Good sense of humour, good listener, but I think just if you're kind to everyone around you it's a huge turn on. Like no matter what the person you're talking to looks like or acts like, you're still kind," he nodded running his hand through his hair once again.

The door opened as you were about to ask him what his favourite traits in a girl were and Gemma came rushing in, a Tesco bag in her hand. "You should probably get going, H. Paps are starting to crowd downstairs, I don't want you getting hurt or anything when you leaving," Gemma said and Harry nodded, pulling his boots on.

"It's was so nice to meet you, Y/N. I'll get your number off of Gemma and text you if that's ok with you?" He asked and you nodded.

"Of course. So good to meet you too, Harry," you smiled as you stood and pulled him into a hug. He pulled you against his body, and as you smelled his cologne you felt yourself melt into him.

You pulled away first and he gave Gemma a quick hug before she walked him out.

"So, what did you think of him?" She asked as she came running into the living room jumping onto her sofa, getting comfortable.

"He's so sweet, really caring, very attractive," you looked over to see Gem smiling.

"As I said earlier, you deserve to be happy. And if my brother is what makes you happy, you both totally have my blessing. You both look really cute together too," she smirked and you felt your cheeks heat up. "You totally like him."

"Gem! I just met him, but he does seem like my kind of guy. And he made me laugh, and he has a great sense of humour..." You trailed off. "I'm sorry, you're his sister, this is weird."

Gemma shook her head. "It's not. I'm just happy that you both see each other as future boyfriend/girlfriend material."
