No one's POV

Once Daphne had calmed down she sat back against Harry's bed as he moved away and poured some tea for the both of them before handing her a cup.

"Thank you..." She said as Harry just nodded and drank his tea without word.

After a bit of silence, Harry set his cup down and took a small breath.

"I know you don't want to talk to me about the situation so I will not pressure you into telling me." Harry said and Daphne nodded her thanks.

"You may stay in my room as long as you like, I have work to complete however so do you mind staying here with Buster while I am away? I feel the quiet and calm will do you good." Harry said.

Daphne nodded once more as Harry stood up.

"Can we talk when you come back...?" She asked him softly and Harry nodded.

"Of course we can for I would not be a gentleman if I were to simply leave you to stir in your own problems alone without help." Harry said smiling a bit.

Daphne smiled back at him though it was a small one but a smile nonetheless.

Harry left his room as he closed the door before teleporting down to the dungeon as he sat on the throne that was in there.

Without word he lit the candle on the table next to him.

"What will we do with her?" Alucard asked having manifested from the darkness standing before Harry.

"My plans have not changed, the only thing is...now we have our first member." Harry said as he sat back against the throne.

Harry interlaced his fingers as he looked at Alucard who folded his arms.

"Are you sure it would be wise to have her as our first member, judging from the situation...she seems to lack the drive to kill, that will be a hindrance." Alucard said.

"She has only killed once, as she continues to kill then she will have that drive and besides..." Harry said with a growing smile.

"I believe I have a way to make that drive come to life quite quickly and easily."

Alucard saw the look in Harry's eyes as he chuckled.

"Very well...I leave it to you."

With that Alucard left leaving Harry alone in the dimly lit room.

'Daphne...Daphne...Daphne...so much to learn hehe...her mind must become fortified if she wishes to survive in this world though for now...hmm...' Harry's thoughts ran elsewhere as he was at a loss.

He didn't know this feeling he felt when he saw Daphne and how she looked...she was so broken and...her soul was horrid...

Harry shook his head not letting his mind stay on that.

"Jack, when do you think is the best time to implement this plan?" Harry asked.

"Hm...perhaps during the second year when we are certain all preparations are completed as well as not being interrupted." Jack said and Harry nodded.

"True...with the holiday come guests...and that means I have to delay but with school, people will be to busy to interfere with the plan as much." Harry agreed.

Harry looked at Jack who looked back at him.

"That being said, what will you do with the young lady?" Jack asked and Harry sighed.

"When I have enough information, I will decide my course of action." Harry said and Jack nodded.

"Then I suggest you go back to her so you may decide what to do, after all...you have places to be tomorrow." Jack said and Harry gave a small groan as he pinched the bridge of his nose at the reminder.

"I have no clue as to why I would have ever agreed in the first place." Harry said as he looked at Jack only to see he was gone.

Harry stood up before he decided to walk back to his room instead of teleporting.

He walked with his hands behind his back as he sighed before he had returned to his room.

He opened the door before he saw Daphne playing with Buster.

Without a word, Harry closed the door after entering alerting Daphne and Buster of his presence.

Harry walked to the bed and sat down in front of the two as Buster moved away from Daphne going over to him.

Harry put his hand on Busters head before he glanced at Daphne with a small smile.

"You don't have to tell me." Harry said when he noticed Daphne's lips part as a means of wanting to start talking to him as she quickly closed her mouth.

Daphne sat in silence for a few moments before a small smile graced her face as well.

"Thank you Harry." She said and Harry nodded.

'Amazing what I few kind words can do, a smile here, a gentle look there...it may turn those into play dough in my hands, easy to manipulate.' Harry thought as he looked at Daphne before he gently moved Buster to the side.

"Hm...would you like a hug?" Harry asked tilting his head to the side.

This threw Daphne off quite a bit as it seemed out of character for Harry to offer such a thing.

But she decided to accept his offer as she slowly moved closer as Harry wrapped his arms around he gently as he softly rubbed her back.

She wouldn't say it out loud...but she felt a bit of safety in Harry's arms.

Daphne knew that Harry was well...for lack of a better word, insane and yet here she was, feeling safe in his arms.

Harry looked down at her as he activated his Soul Eye.

'Such beautiful colours...her soul is so exquisite and perfect.' Harry thought as a smile crept onto his face.

"Daphne, would you like to attend my birthday with my sister and...brother?" Harry asked though he was always disgusted to utter that word when referring to Daniel.

"You...want me to come?" She asked and Harry smiled.

"We are allowed to bring guests so, I wanted you to attend as well as some other...friends I have who will be coming as well." He said.
