.(update) I would like to add other pe...
I did some researching about stuff to understand more about Bens story or cult whatever. I guess human sacrifices were common back then in cults, human sacrifices was a way to bring good fortune and, it was a way more valuable offering to their gods " a human life to a deity life " I guess. And, drowning was a more common way too sooooo....ben was just picked as a human sacrifice to their God or deity. I don't know anything else about the eyes though, still lost on that part but, what I think the eyes were for was like an offering from that sacrifice they brought for their god. Idk , I do way too much research on this lol.
