Shelves bursting with trinkets That I'm afraid to touch Fancy toys and ginormous pillows It's all much too much Too much

Sofia, not a noble name Sofia, even my wave is lame I'm not ready To be a princess
I ended up in front of mom's room and she opened the door of her chamber.
"Sofia! What happened sweetie?" She asked softly.
I quickly stand up and hugged her.
She returned it.
"Want to talk about it?" She asked again.
"Ok!.......... And that's how I ended here." I told her everything.
"Hmmm, seems like you had a hard day." A deep voice came and when I turned around I saw dad.
"Yes Dad. I did!"
"Here." Saying this he came near me and dropped something cold on my neck. When saw what it is I was shocked it was a purple amulet it looked beautiful.
"Thank you, dad." I smiled instantly.
"No need. Take this as a welcome gift to the family from me." He smiled.
"It's beautiful! It would be a shame if I refuse to take this gift."
"Sofia, now you need to promise me that you will never remove this amulet it's very precious. And in this way you won't loose it." Dad asked.
"I promise!" I smiled gently I don't know why but I felt a connection with it.
"That's what I thought. Now it's late go to sleep." He said.
"Sure. Good night Dad, Mom!" And I left there room and entered my room.
I changed into my blue night gown.
