This story showed the importance of second chance... and learning from our mistakes.

Most of the time, we are making a decision base on our emotion.

Just like Lian, what she did was not justifiable but understandable. She's hurt, her mother died, she faced everything alone and her feelings is valid. She made a mistake but that doesn't make her a bad person.

Drew made himself clear from the very start that she will give Lian the freedom if Lian asks for it. The fact that Lian can't even listen to her explanation made him think that they both need time, he doesn't want to add up to Lian's pain and burden that is why he chose to let go.

They parted their ways but what's important is they learned from their mistakes.

Letting go is fine as long as it will make you sane, as long as it will help you grow.

Sometimes, people need to be apart in order for them to grow. Just like the flowers that need time and space, Drew and Lian happened to be the same.

I hope you learned something from them as much as you learned something from Steve and Calynn's story.
