~°WAJE'S POV°~

The tiles of the bathroom feels cold against my thighs, down to my bare laps and it freezes me on the spot. The heavy rain outside beats the zinc, making me unable to hear the sound of my own tears. I hug my knees tightly, letting the tears drop like water flowing freely through a lake. The weather today is just able to match the loneliness I feel deep down.

The thoughts in my mind are burdensome, and I can't reason normally anymore. Every move seems wrong and every thought over weighs the last.

It's safe to say I may get depressed sooner than I expect but worse, I feel like the worst person in the world, in fact, the worst sister. Nathan hasn't called, nor texted, nor messaged me or anything. He's totally detached from issues concerning me and that's enough burden for my heart, talk less of the gossips people are definitely going to raise. It's never been tougher.

I blow my nose in the tissue and toss it in the toilet beside me, letting down more lines of tears as my mind refuses to leave certain topics and my heart is just the worst.

"Waje!"

I turn sharply to the door at the sound of Jamal's voice and clean up my tears immediately. His voice comes again and I tense more than the last.

"Waje, open the door!"

I stand up and stare at my swollen red eyes in the mirror. My cheeks are puffed out and my hair seems a natural disaster. I sigh to myself and wash my face up. It looks a percent better than previous but who am I kidding anyways?
