I woke up in my bed, wrapped in silk clothes. I heard soft snoring coming from near my bed.
"What's that noise?" I ask myself, groggily getting out of bed.
"Are you awake?" I hear someone say.
I look over my bed to see Illumi sleeping on the floor.
"What happened?" I ask.
"You got drunk last night."
"Why are you on the floor, where is Avira?"
"You wouldn't let me sleep with you. You wanted the bed for yourself."
"Oh."
"Your brother is asleep in the next room."
All of a sudden I heard a loud bang in the next room.
"I don't remember anything from last night." I began to try to remember anything from last night.
"Wait...did I do anything embarrassing?"
"No, I took you home as soon as you started to stumble."
"That's good." I say relieved.
Illumi gets up and sits on my bed.
"What was the last thing you remember?" Illumi asks me. He plays with my hair.
"Our..first kiss." Illumi comes in closer.
"You have some training to do today, we're going to train you harder than ever," Illumi whispers in my ear.
"Illumi, what are you doing?"
"I don't know."
Illumi looks me in the eye. I wrap my arms around his neck and kiss him. He holds me close to him.
"Promise me you'll work hard so that you don't suffer, alright?" Illumi says.
"I promise."
"I love you, (y/n), now, get ready for training." Illumi says.
"Okay, I will!" I say as he walks out the door. He could've gone to his own room, but he stayed here with me.
Soon Canary walks in and gives me my clothes for training that day.
"Here you go miss."
"Hey, wait." I say to Canary.
"Is something wrong?" She asks me.
"I just...I want to know why Illumi stayed with me the whole night, when he could've gone to his own room."
"He loves you, that's why." Canary said. She then proceeded to leave the room.
I get dressed and head over to the next room where Avira is.
"Avira! Hey, Avira, can I come in?" I say, knocking on the door.
I hear a loud groan come from his room.
"Do whatever you waaaaant." Avira groans.
"Are you okay in there?" I say as I walk into his messy room.
"I fell off..." He complains to me.
"Let's get you up." I sigh and pick him off of the ground as if he was a little boy.
"Thanks. I think I can get ready from here."
"Alright, I'll leave and head to the dining room, meet me there." I say.
The door creaks open as I leave. Illumi is there at the dining room table.
"Hey, Illumi."
"Hello, I just wanted to make sure Avira was okay." He asks.
