"Dose this spot work?" I ask Venom looking around the area. It was wide, open, and it was void of any passerbys. Plus, it was isolated from any building. The area we were in was beneath some large highway roads. The area I and RWBY fought Roman when he used that giant robotic mech he stole to combat us and make his getaway. But of course, it backfired and failed on his end. "Yes, this place is perfect." Venom says. Looking around with his snake body. Flowing out of my shoulder blade. But then he made an annoyed look. "Ugh... If only the area was more quieter..." Venom complains. Looking up at the highway roards above. Hearing the sounds of cars moving, engine working, and car horns honking. "Well, there was nowhere else to go Venom... This is the best we got." I replied looking around the area again. Yeah it will sit well with our needs. Venom made a groan that sounded like a growl. It was clear he was annoyed. "I know..." He says. "Ok, so when do we start?" I ask readying and psyching myself up. "Right now obviously." Venom says facing me. "Question is, what do YOU, wanna start learning first?" Venom asks me. "What do you have experience with using Conduit powers?" I asked. "Rememeber the nights I go out criminal hunting while you slept?" Venom asks nonchalantly. I made a glare at him. "Yeah.... I rememeber..." I say. "I haven't forgive you for that... You sick slime bug..." I said. "I wasn't gonna let you die. I made sure you got back safe." Venom said. "That dosent change the fact! Or help it!" I exlciamed. I was about to continue but Venom cut in saying. "Yeah, yeah, yeah, whatever were learning how to control Conduit energy now." I let out an annoyed growl but I let it go. For now...
"Ok... Now to answer your question, I guess we can- well... Me. I'm the one learning. You can teach me how to control my electricity abilities." I say. Venom boss his serpent head. "Good choice. Something you already have experience with." Venom comments. "Not really experience, it was more of a life or death reflex. And it just so happen to be that shockforce blast." I said. "Whatever it's something you did before. Let's just start." Venom says. I scoffed. Before long, I readied myself for the training. "Ok Venom, hope your a good teacher..." I said. "What's first?" Venom faces me. "First, take out your dominate hand." Venom says. I do as told. "Ok... Next?" I ask. "Next, think about electricity." Venom says. "Think about what power I want? Really...?" I made a face. No way controlling potentially ultimate Conduit power could just be picked up by thinking about it. "(Y/N), it's clear you can control more then one Conduit energy sources. So thinking about what energy source you want to focus on will allow it to flow through your body. And allow you to fire it." Venom explains. "Fire it?" I ask. "Yes fire. Now think about electricity." I do as told. I'm thinking hard... At first, I just through about it, then it thought hard. Then I closed my eyes, and thought even harder... "Steady and focus yourself (Y/N). This will be your first time fully using your Conduit capabilities. Don't pressure yourself." Venom explains. I know he's trying to comfort and motivate me, but its coming from a terrifying slime parasite monster. Like how I'm I suppost to feel comfort or powerful motivation from that?
You can't. No matter what or how you see it. Its still a terrifying beast telling me this. So I wasn't getting the motivation I wanted to receive, which in result made me struggle. Very badly... "Come on (Y/N), focus!" Venom exclaimed. "Relax, focus! Come on, focus and relax!" He says again. I'm trying over and over again. Im doing different hand poses, different positions, different finger placement, I did everything. But nothing was working. And of course I was trying to clam myself and relax. But again, nothing was working. Really, nothing was working. And I was growing frustrated. "Ahhh! Nothing's working!" I exlciamed angrily. "I'm I doing something wrong? Is my Conduit powers even charged? The hell is going on!?" I say. Extending my arms out to emphasis and express my frustration. I can tell Venom was trying to figure this out. Do to this silence, but it wasn't really helping me in my case. Which makes it worse as he can use the Conduit powers esaliy, while I'm sitting here struggling like an idiot. I didn't know what to do. And after a while of struggling, shouting, and cursing. I just decided to take a break, and sit down... Just for a bit.
I sigh in annoyance. Clearly mad and defected. I sat there, leaning against the highway support piller. I closed my eyes, and entered into my thoughts, where I begin to think to myself. And of course, it manly involved how to use theae powers to my advantage. Becuase turning or using something power against its evil creators is the biggest smack to the face you can do to someone. And would create major damage to them. But I can't do that if I dont learn how to use, control, and master these powers. I had to learn, but nothing was working. Not sure if it has something to do with mental thoughts, or just what I absorb and charge into myself, if what Venom says is correct, or what, nothing was damn working! But I quickly let out a breath and sighed. Then took another breath in, and let it out. I needed to calm down. "No use getting angry." I thought to myself. After a few morw deep breaths, I slowly get back up, and ready myself again. "You sure your ready this time?" Venom asks. "Im sure." I reply. I start, and try to calm myself down, and relax myself. I still took slight feel breaths as I try to focus myself. "Ok... Ok..." I mutter. As slowly, I extended my right arm and held it up. While opening my hand slightly. I continue taking slow breaths, trying to keep my calm state. "Focus (Y/N)..." Venom says. "Take your time. Ease yourself to feeling comfortable with your Conduit powers." I nodded slightly at Venom's words. After some time, I started to really focus on what Conduit energy source I'm gonna focus on. Not too long after, I started to picture an image.
"Electricity..." I thought to myself. "Come on me... Activate your powers!" I shout internally. I continue to try and keep my calm state, while keeping a mental image of what energy source I want to focus on. Then... Suddenly... I heard something. At first, I though it was my ears playing tricks on me. Espesailly when it was so quick. The sound just appeared then vanished. But them I heard it again. Then again. And again. Then... constant. Then, a very slight tingle in my fingers... Then it spread to my hand. Then my arm... I finally open my eyes. And see the light blue glow... That coursed through my arm, hand, fingers, and shocking (no pun intended) through my nerves.
Then... The glow grew brighter. And that sound got louder. And soon, very bright light emitted constantly, and there it was...
Pure Electric Energy was coursing and bouncing around my arms. Both of them. Even though I only intended to use my right. "Oh my god...." I mutter. In utter shock on what I was seeing, and what I was able to do. "I did it...." I say. "I did it! I DID IT!!" I exclaimed louder. Facing Venom I exlcimed again I did it. Even though his mouth was in a permanent smiling like position, I can tell he smiled at my accomplishment. Finally being able to form electricity. Now the next step was to use it's offensive capabilities. As what Venom said, Conduits with whatever energy source that they can absorb, can fire them in projectiles for offensive capabilities. Now to do that.... I don't know. And again, I'm turning and switching my hands in different positions in attempt to fire an electric bolt I presume. "Wait..." Venom says. I pause when Venom says that. Then he continues. "Try bending your fingers whike holding your hand out." Venom suggests. I do as told. Holding my hand out, and getting ready to bend them. "Maybe also think about shooting. That's what I do when I used our Conduit powers." He explains. "Alright." I reply. I did all the things he suggested, but I saved the bending of my fingers for last. And ones I reached that point, I bend them.
The loud sound of the electricity crackling fills the air, and a electric blast flies from my hand and arm, that was covered in the electricity like webs. "Woah!" I shout. Seeing the ball of electricity fly through the air at high speed. Before hitting a highway support piller in the distance and disappearing. Not before leaving a dark mark on the pillar's material. Almost like a burn mark. I looked at the bearly visable mark on the Highway pillar from a distance, then I looked at my right hand, which was still covered in eleteicty coursing through it. "Normally, there would be someone asking what your thinking." Venom comments. "But since I'm bonded with you, I know EXACTLY, what your thinking." He says. Emphasizing. And he was right. As I took a few steps forward. Looking at the other Highway pillars. And with a swift motion of my arm raising up, I raised my right arm up and fired another again. The same pillar. But I didn't stop there. With my left arm acting as a support for my firing arm, I fired again. At another pillar. The electric crackle echoing out every time I fire my Conduit powers. I then swapped between different pillars. Firing at each of them equally. And becoming faster and faster by the minute. Before long, not needing the support of my other arm to fire. It soon acted as a second twin gun to me duel wilding two pistols. And I soon fired with my left arm. As equal with my right hand.
And soon, I was firing with both my arms, at rapid speed. And the electric bolts were firing out just as fast. Until finally, I stopped... I relaxed my arms... And soon the electricity that danced and coursed through and around my arms disappared. Leaving the area in nighttime darkness. Replacing the light blue light the bolts and electricity made. I stood there, just breathing slightly from that brief moment of intense shooting. Then, a smile came onto my face. "Damn..." Was all I could say and comprehend at the moment. "Outstanding." Venom said. His serpent like head hovering beside me. "Now let's train your Conduit capabilities more, then we'll use it to cook the head's of people." My smile dropped at that comment Venom just nonchalantly said. And I gave him a look. "No. Just.... No." I said. Sternly. "Is violence and killing people the only thing in your mind?" I ask him. And again, Venom replies nonchalantly. "Yes." I face palm. And sigh. "And You wonder why I still don't trust you..." I mutter. But it was loud enough for him to hear me. "Ahh whatever let's get to training Superteen." Venom said. I pause and guve him another look. "Superteen...?" I say. "Your not Superman yet. So your Superteen. Now hurry up Superteen. Time do work on your Neon powers." Venom commands. I let out an annoyed sigh and growl. "This thing I swear..." I mumbled as I ready myself for the next Conduit power set I was gonna work with. "Lets go now, chop, chop!" Venom says. Clearly growing impatient. "Hold on! Let me strexh." I say as I stretch out my arm muscles. Rising them into the air, and intertwining them. Beforing hearing pops and cracks from my fingers, wrists, and back as I stretched around my back too. "Aww that was satisfying..." I thought to myself. I released and let my muscles relax. "Ok im ready!" I say. And just as before, I relax myself, clear and calm my mind, and slowly raise my dominant arm. Which again, was my right. And I started to mentally picture and focus on what energy source I was gonna use and work on. But I didn't do this flawlessly. I struggled and failed four or more times. "Focus (Y/N). Calm yourself." Venom says. I take a deep breath, and exhale softly. I calmed myself again, and tried one's more. Trying to let my body adjust and realize this is what im trying to do. Which is blast Conduit energy from my hands... Yeah it sounds strange but that's what my brain and body gotra do and know.
And two more tires later... A glow emits from my arm. It was faint at first, but it soon grew in brightness. And it was a pink and light bkue glow. "...ok... There we go..." I mutter. These pink and blue (and a few other colors) wavy mist and streamlines hovers, flew around and webbed around my hand and arm, slowly growing ever more brighter. But it soon shined its brightest, when finally, I harnessed and controled it.
I looked at the energy flowing, glowing, and hovering around my hand and arm in amazement. Being almost in a trance by it. It looked.... Amazing. And of course, awsome. "Wow..." I mutter as I stare at the vibrant energy source. "Beautiful." Venom says. Agreeing. "If even YOU think this is amazing, then I KNOW this is worth the effort." I said. I extended my right arm again, and aimmed it at the highway pillars I fired at before. "Ok..." I mutter. "Let's see how this one works." And with that, I fire a single blast from my hand of pure neon energy.
The blast lights up the night with multiple colors, while making the most coolest and most satisfying sound I've ever heard when I fired it. Like who knew shooting legit Neon energy could sound SO HIGH TECH!
Now after I blasted my first shot, I let myself calm down a little bit. As im still not used to this obviously. And I still don't know how to properly prop or position myself. So after I did finally steady myself, I rises my arm again, and blasted another shot. This time to the pillar behind the one closet to me. The night was lit up again with the Neon energy blast's color. It tore through the air at high speed before hitting the pillar's stone material. Making an even darker mark to where my electricity bolt landed. Same gose to the pillar closest to me. And the one behind the second. As I fired on that one too. I exhaled softly after my third Neon shot. I looked down at my arm again. Which still glowed in bright colors. Again, manly a pinkish color. "Wow..." I say as im still in pure shock and awe at the fact im firing Neon from my hands. PURE. NEON. And im able to control this energy. Its amazing! I raised and aimmed my arm at the pillars again and begin to fire on them again. Firing more and more rapidly, and getting progressively more and more faster. I fired more and more Neon blasts, even throwing in a few electric blasts as well. Soon I was duel wielding them. Electricity firing from my left, and Neon firing from my right. The pillars in front of me acted as my rarget practice. And soon, after some sloppy shots, and hours of training, I finally managed to position myself, and find a way to properly use my Conduit powers projectile abilities perfectly. I couldn't help but smile at my accomplishment... And Venom couldn't help but continuously complement me. "Outstanding." He would say. "Beoyned perfect." Gotta admit, I smiled more at this beast's words. But I was still far from done. "We can't stop just yet (Y/N). We still have more training to do with our Conduit powers." Venom explains. I sighed a bit disappointed. Knowing I sadly won't be going back to Beacon with new found powers, and a good night sleep as a reward. No as Venom said, I still had work to do...
But honestly... Fine. Ok. "Let's do it then." I say confidently pumped now. "Then let us keep going." Venom says as we continue to see what else our Conduit genetics hide, and that will soon be exploited.
