"Feeling better?" Taehyung asked.
You took a large bite out of your Big Mac from Mcdonald's as you and Taehyung sat in the Mcdonald's parking lot in a car.
You sighed in pleasure slumping your shoulders as you sat in the passengers seat.
"This is everything." You breathed and Taehyung chuckled at you.
"I never thought you would like fast food with how you are." He stared at you.
You reached for your iced tea in the cup holder, taking a sip. "What do you mean?"
"I mean seeing you in the mall that day with those wolves. You were like a machine."
"Well I'm not a perfect machine. I like my junk."
You were taking a bite out of your fries. You leaned back into the seat letting a silence settle between you and Taehyung.
He leaned back in his seat, as you both watched the cars driving through the parking lot.
"You and Jungkook, huh? I can't say I'm surprised."
You turned to him and he was smirking at you. Your eyes widened and you turned to your right staring out the window.
You couldn't stop thinking about how heated things got between you and Jungkook. It didn't go too far, but your mind couldn't help but wander to how far it could've gone.
He really was just in a towel. Imagine if it fell—
"Are you seriously thinking that right now?" Taehyung raised his voice staring at you awkwardly.
You blushed in embarrassment. You turned to him slapping his arm, "WHO TOLD YOU TO READ MY THOUGHTS?!"
"It's not my fault they are so loud!" He held his face in his hands, "You guys were really going to—"
"NO! I-It isn't like that..." You sighed, "We just cleared the air on some things. You know I'm not best with this relationship thing. I'm trying."
You finished up your food in silence and all Taehyung did was smile at you.
"Getting close to someone is good for you. You felt so alone and went through so much. It makes me happy inside that you are slowly finding peace within yourself." He spoke passionately.
He wasn't wrong. It was surprising for you to finally submit to Jungkook. Being stubborn and ignorant of your own feelings felt like something you were getting use to.
You stuffed all the waste from the food in the paper bag it came in. You placed it by your feet in the car as there were no trash bins near or around the car.
"Can we go to a book store?" You questioned shyly.
Taehyung sighed, "You know we can't go to other places. We might get in trouble just for this. Stepping out the car?"
"The house is boringgg! Nothing exciting has happened!" You threw your head back in your seat.
There's nothing to do until Dae pops up on the radar. Might as well be productive .
"Y/n, that's a good thing!" Taehyung looked at you confused. "We have plenty of books!"
"Yeah, but they are ancient." You shut your eyes and huffed.
The mansion was feeling more of your home, but nothing felt homey to you. It was hard to get comfortable in the place especially where such horrible things have happened.
"One."
You tilted your head to the side staring at Taehyung, "One?"
He sighed, "One book and we are out. Quick."
You smirked as Taehyung turned on the car.
"I promise it will be quick!"
"It better!"

"Have you been here before?" You asked as the two of you stepped into the book store.
"No. It was just the closest one."
It was pretty generic having a bit of everything. There were a few other people in there.
Any of these people could be controlled by Dae. Just like how he controlled Chris. He's so manipulative. You thought.
You moved closer to Taehyung looping your arms together. You hated feeling vulnerable. When Chris attacked you, you mentally haven't felt the same.
Of course you were thankful that Jungkook was there to protect you, but before it was just you against the world. Now you were so dependent on others.
You hated to admit it, but you felt that you were losing yourself. Where you came from. Your family.
Family? Never thought I would start thinking like this.
"Are you okay?" Taehyung questioned.
You tilted your head down as you faced the ground. He could feel your body slightly trembling against him.
"I-I'm fine." You stuttered.
You asked to come here Y/n. Get a book and leave.
Your eyes widened at a section in the store. You tugged Taehyung along as you walked.
You immediately grabbed a book and shoved it in Taehyung's face.
"...Twilight?" He squinted his eyes. "I think that's offensive."
You raised an eyebrow, "Your lives aren't that different from this."
You watched as Taehyung closed his eyes in disgust. You couldn't help but muffle your laughter from his reaction.
"So what does that make you? Bella and Jungkook's Edward?" He questioned.
"Maybe. I can't see myself as Bella. She's kind of boring for me and kind of always looks like she's on the verge of death or something." You spoke explaining yourself.
Taehyung's eyes widened and they shifted to the left and back at you.
Your jaw dropped, "Are you saying...I'm Bella?!"
"Like you said our lives aren't much different from it." He used your own words against you and you gasped.
"Bella becomes a vampire!" You whisper yelled. "That could never be me!"
"...it's not impossible..."
You slowly put the book down. "I'm going to act like I just didn't hear that."
You turned to Taehyung and he looked at you. You both broke into a laugh.
You felt more free knowing you two were okay with each other.
"You know, I'm sorry for pushing you away. Things happened and I just...I guess out of everyone, the bond I have with you is different. I could never imagine life without you."
You wrapped your arms around Taehyung, hugging him. He hugged you back.
"You don't have to apologize."
"No. I need to."
You pulled away from the hug smiling up at Taehyung. He returned a light smile.
"A couple into twilight..? That's a first?" We heard a voice. You nervously turned to see a guy smirking at you and Taehyung.
You immediately pushed yourself off of Taehyung. "No you got it mistaken. We are literally best friends."
You stared up at the guy who was sending you a questioning glance. He was slightly taller than Taehyung. His hair was dark and his dark orbs searched you for the truth.
You looked off to the side feeling awkward.
"Drop it. She's with someone and we have respect for each other. He respects my friendship with her." Taehyung spoke quietly.
"Oh I'm sure he does!" The man eyes Taehyung with a threatening and annoyed glance.
You stared at the two men nervoucsly.
He was quick to break into a large smile, "Oh of course! I'm sorry about making it awkward. I just work here in this bookstore. I thought you guys were interested in buying Twilight?"
He stepped passed you holding the book.
"It's kind of a ridiculous perception on vampires. They sparkle in sunlight? Kind of ridiculous." He lightly laughed.
You scrunched up your face. He had an odd scent.
"You know we didn't ask for help." Taehyung spoke defensively.
The man smirked at Taehyung almost taunting him.
There was definite tension between them.
The man looked to the ground and bit his lip as he smiled, "You know I'm just doing my job."
Did Taehyung know this guy? What the heck happened between them?!
He turned his attention to you. "You are being more cooperative. Is there anything else I can help you with?"
"Uh...We were just looking but thank you."
"I'm Yugyeom. Call me over if you need anything." With that he glanced at Taehyung smirking before he walked away to other customers.
"Do you...do you know him?" You asked.
He didn't speak.
He gripped your arm and rushed out of the store.
