I rolled over and saw Toby sitting in one of the bar stools in the kitchen.
"Your awake."
"Yep." I yawned and stretched my arms out still closing my eyes.
"Feel any better?"
"I feel.." Then immediately I ran across the hardwood to the bathroom for the second time.
I tried to throw up but nothing came out.
"I'll take that as a no." Toby said rubbing my back.
I nodded.
"What's wrong with me?" I managed to get out of my sore throat.
"I don't know. Maybe food poisoning. Or your could be allergic to that medication."
"Hmm." I nodded and wiped the sweat from my forehead and pushed some strands of hair behind my ears.
"I feel gross."
"I assumed." He joked.
"I'll puke on you."
He smirked.
"I'm pretty sure if you did I could handle it."
"Shut up."
"Stay here and I'll call a doctor and give a list of your symptoms maybe he or she could come up with some possibilities."
"Alright. Oh could you bring me a new shirt a some pajama shorts?"
"Sure."
He returned to the bathroom with a gray t-shirt and some black softie shorts.
I have to admit I was hoping he would bring me one of his shirts but were not a couple so that kinda be weird ya know.
I gave him a small smile.
"Thanks."
"Welcome."
"Um what did the doctor say?"
"You probably just have a small stomach virus."
"Small?" I smirked.
He laughed.
"You talked to Dr.Greyson right?"
"Yep."
"Okay good." I said and leaned against the wall.
"I'm not sure if you want to move or not?"
"Well if I stay here I'll have a shorter run in case I puke again."
I took a deep breath and shifted my weight from side to side.
"Hey your going to be okay." He said rubbing my back.
"I sure as hell don't feel like it. I mean I try to throw up but I can't."
"You must be empty."
"Must be. Hey, what about you shouldn't you be at school? Not hanging around a sick person."
"Friends don't let friends stay home and suffer sickness alone."
"Thanks."
"I called Aria and she's picking up your books and school work for you."
"Thanks again."
"Well how about I bring a blanket and pillow in here for you."
"Sure." I smiled.
"Here you go."
"Thank you." I said taking the blanket and pillow from him.
"You do realize that's like the 5th time you've thanked me right?" He smiled.
I blushed.
He slid down the wall next to me.
"You'll be better soon."
A single tear escaped my eye.
"I hope so."
He looked down and wiped the tear away.
"Everything hurts." I whispered.
