Katie:
"Katherine i'm going to need you to finish up your sandwich right now,we're already late for the party."
"But i wan't to wear my party dress first!" She grumbled and i sighed out of frustration.
i felt like just slamming my face in between a car door. Katherine has been so stubborn lately,now that she has learned lots of new words from daycare.Don't get me wrong,i love my little sister but i was really struggling here and it's giving me ten times more stress knowing that i have another baby inside of me.
"No can you just-" i raised my voice at her on accident and then i started to notice the tears starting to form in her eyes and i immediately face palmed myself,kneeling down in front of her,already regretting what i have done.
"No baby i didn't mean to shout at you,it has just been such a long day and i-" i apologised to her as i hugged her tightly,rubbing her back and i heard her sniffles.
God..it broke my heart to see her cry.
i heard the sound of footsteps coming from the living room and then came in Harry with a worried look on his face when he noticed Katherine crying.
"Hey,what's wrong princess?" Asked Harry with a worried tone in his voice as he picked Katherine up in his arms,carrying her.
"K-kat angry at me.." said Katherine as she hugged Harry and he knew it was an accident so he calmed her down by rubbing her back.
"Hey it's okay,how about you bring your sandwiches to Aunty Anne and ask her to help put on your dress once you're finished eating?" Suggested Harry and she slowly nodded her head,wiggling out of his arms and running into the living room.
I wanted to cry.
I was so frustrated.Today has just been such a long day for me because it was the gender reveal and i had to go all the way to town to get my hair all done.The train was delayed for 2 hours so when i finally reached back home,i had to make tea time for Katherine and find that specific dress that she wants to wear.And lastly,i had to settle all my emails regarding choosing a job once the baby is out and finding a babysitter.It's all just too much for me and i didn't mean to snap at my sister like that.
I walked over to the counter,placing my hands over my forehead and sighing out in frustration. "Hey.." whispered Harry as i heard his footsteps approaching towards me.
"It was an accident Harry."
"I know.it's been a long day." he says as he gently massaged my shoulders and kissing the back of my head to calm me down. "I feel like everything is so fast for me and i don't even have the time to focus on myself because it's all so rushed. I want to be a good sister to Katherine,i really do." I explained to Harry and i knew he was listening to me.
He always listens.
"You are a good sister to Katherine babe.. you're just really stressed these past few weeks because you're overthinking about the future too much. You gotta know when to take a step back and just breathe, don't let your negative thoughts consume you." said Harry,my body relaxing when he wrapped his arms around me,hugging me from behind as he places his chin on my shoulder.
He was right. I haven't been taking a break at all and that's why everything felt so cramped up.
"I want to be a good mom to our son or daughter,i want to be able to provide for them as well.I don't just want you to provide them with everything,i need to work as well.I've been looking through all these emails for Katherine's kindergarten and for a job myself,it's so hard to choose and decide everything." I ranted out to him and he turned my body around gently so that i was now facing him.
"Then i'll help you.You love fashion don't you ?" Asked Harry with a small smile and i nodded my head at him.
"Okay then how about i ask Harris if you could join the team?" Suggested Harry and i bit my lip anxiously.
I mean it sounds like a terrific idea considering how much i love designing/making outfits for Katherine and even for myself as a hobby.I figured it would be worth a shot but i didn't know why i felt scared and unsure at the same time,this was all going to be so new to me.
I ran my fingers through the ends of my hair and thought about it once more before fully making a decision.
"Or if you want,you can always join me back on tour?asked Harry and i chuckled at his kindness.
"Oh god-fine okay but if there isn't any positions left then i'll go job hunting myself." i answered him and he nodded his head,planting a sweet kiss on my cheek.
"And remember..you are going to be the best mother ever.." whispered Harry as he placed a strand of my hair behind my ear.
"Hmm,and what makes you think that huh?" I asked him curiously,draping my arms around his neck as i brought his body closer to me.
"Because a little birdy told me." i let out a loud laugh.
I knew he only made a joke to cheer me up and i was so grateful for him
"Well then tell the little birdy i said thank you." I answered him back and he smiled at me,showing off his dimples.
"Ready to go find out what gender the little one is?" asked Harry as he rubbed my belly and i nodded my head,letting out a light chuckle.
We finally made it to the gender reveal party, thankfully it wasn't far.Katherine accepted my apology and told me to make her a pb & j sandwich the next time as a punishment and i told her okay.
Harry decided to make the gender reveal location at my house instead of Anne's (which we were currently living in) because it was much more private and there were guards outside with the names of the specific people that we had invited.I took my house keys out from my purse and opened the front door,already hearing the faint sounds of people having conversations.I was feeling extremely nervous because i finally talked myself out to wearing a more fitted dress today so that my baby bump was revealed.
I felt like if i constantly hide my baby bump,Harry would think that i was regretting to have this baby. I'm not,i love my baby bump so much but i was mainly scared of the public eye.I didn't mind if our family and closest friends saw it but i can't help but feel paranoid if any leaked pictures of me were accidentally posted online.
We eventually said hi to some of the guests and it was relieving when i had received a lot of compliments regarding the way i dressed today and i was very grateful.Katherine was shy as usual but at least she behaved herself and went to Anne straight away.Harry and i walked outside to the garden and our mouths parted in agape as we saw how beautifully decorated the garden was.Half of the garden was decorated in a baby blue coloured streamers and the other half was a baby pink in colour.
"NO FUCKING WAY GEMS!" Shouted Harry the second his eyes landed on Gemma and we all laughed the moment we realised that Gemma and Harry were matching with their outfits.
Harry wore a white cotton singlet,an unbuttoned white shirt over the singlet and a pair of cream shorts.However Gemma on the other hand wore cream in coloured overalls with a white shirt,i can't believe they matched today.
"Fuck off-i swear to God Chloe it was not planned." said Gemma as she controlled her laughter.
"And i thought i was bloody creative today." Said Harry jokingly and Gemma scoffed playfully.
Anne forced the both of them to stand next to each other and pose for a picture,i mean it was just too adorable and hilarious.
After we had our lunch and took our pictures,Harry and i were told to stand in the middle of the garden while everyone else stood around us in a huge circle.
"So you'll both hold this and when we finish our countdown,you pull the string at the bottom and the smoke will come out of it which will show you the colour that reveals the gender of the baby." Explained Gemma as she handed the cylinder boxes to us and we listened to her instructions carefully.
"You two ready?" asked Anne as she stood in front of us,preparing to ready to record the both of us with her phone and we both nodded excitedly.
Harry and i then stood opposite of each other,giving each other a reassuring smile,reminding ourselves that's it's going to be okay.

My heart was felt like it was going to burst but in a good way.There was nothing for me to be nervous about,whatever the gender is..i'll love he or she just as much.I could tell Harry was nervous because his hands were trembling a little but i knew deep down,he was just as excited as i was.

Harry and i made eye contact with each other and nodded our heads before we pulled the string at the bottom,our bodies jolting in shock when we heard a loud popping sound.We looked up at the sky in unison and then we saw...a blue smoke flowing in the air.
It's a boy.
Everyone was cheering and screaming with joy whilst Harry and i just stood there in shock,watching the blue smoke spread throughout the sky.We were still trying to let it sink in,it was almost like there were no words that could come out from our mouths because this was reality.
We were going to raise a baby boy together.
I then felt a presence standing right next to me and i immediately look to my right,noticing Harry looking at me with so much love and admiration present in his eyes.
"It's a b-boy.." he whispered with tears streaming down his face and i smiled at him,placing my hand delicately on his cheek as i wiped his tears away.
"We're having a boy.." i grinned with tears forming in my eyes and he chuckled shaking his head before carrying me into his arms gently.
I've never seen him looked this happy..his happiness was radiating for everyone to see.
He spun me around with one arm and i couldn't help but let out a shriek.He placed me down and gave me a sweet kiss on the lips and then pulling away, "Till the end ?" He says,displaying a dimpled smile.
"Till the end Harry."
And so i watched..as everybody made their way to us with open arms and the biggest smile plastered on their faces.Anne ran to Harry and gave him the biggest hug as she whispered the sweetest words to into his ear whilst Gemma made her way towards me.She immediately engulfed me into the one of the biggest hugs and we both started jumping around with excitement,she kept mentioning about how she was so excited to buy some clothes for my baby and how he'd be a complete heartbreaker especially with Harry's and my looks combined.
Not gonna lie but that made me laugh,he's defo having Harry's looks.
Everyone was so overwhelmed but in a good way.
Just being around the right company made everything feel so much better and i guess i could say..
We'll be alright
