Brown, Orange, And Green are such underrated colors when used in clothing, aesthetic, and other things. Don't you think it's time we Palette swap and give other colors the spotlight?
Also, would you believe me if I knew nothing about fashion after this oneshot?
STORYTIME!!
Remy was having a SPIKE of aesthetic genius, and Roman was totes in on it! The two of them had decided to try mixing monster in with their Starbucks latte and BOOM!!! Instant creative inspiration. Remy was dressing up Roman in entirely new color schemes aside from his normal red. Remy had created a wonderful monarch yellow garb, reminiscent of a prince of the sun, and had Roman shoved in a dressing room to try it on.
"BAAAAAAAAAABE Are you done yet? I wanna see Nowwwwwwwww!"
Remy whined. Remy or Veruca Salt? These spot the difference challenges are too advanced for the majority of the population. With a flicker of the curtain, it was thrown aside and Roman made his presence known to his fashionista boyfriend. He purses his lips as if asking to be kissed, wearing the color with pride! His tunic was a cream color, wearing a sash around the waist that is dark mustard yellow to match the sash going across his chest. His cape was a bright yellow and so were the ribbon accents on his sleeves and the edges of his tunic. His pants were dark mustard yellow and to show off his gay culture, he wore yellow converse to go with it. The cherry on top was the little sunshine he painted on his right cheek with acrylic.
"I have come to sweep you off your feet, the King of the Sun!"
Roman bellowed and did as he promised. He swept Remy in his arms and spun him around, causing them both to laugh at the romantic and silly moment. Remy eyes him up and down when his feet hit the ground. Damn, he did a really good job. That sparked an idea in him, causing him to gasp. Oh yes. Oh yes. He just had to share this idea with the boyfriend standing in front of him.
"Babe, Babe, we totally need to, like, change up our boyfriends' color palettes for the day. Like, all of them."
Roman clapped at the idea, very giddy about it. He grabbed Remy's wrist and threw him into the dressing room. Remy was severely confused until Roman shoved a whole rack of new clothes for him. Remy went pale. All of them included him too. But he loved his black! He was greeted with bright pastel blues, a lot like Patton's. But it was more minty and light teal. Like water in the Caribbean. Remy sighed and looked through the clothes.
Okay, Remy was digging it. There was a baby blue tank top with a cute little whale on it and a white tank top to go underneath it. Then he had a mint blue short jean skirt and light light gray leggings to go underneath it. But the leggings stopped right above his knees. He also had converse in the color scheme to showcase his gayness. The thing that made it better is that Roman remembered to add the hair dyed for the tips of his hair Andy to get him a new pair of sunglasses. Remy saw the curtain shift and a blue raspberry slush is was on the floor. Remy snickered. Roman knew him way too well.
"Boom baby~"
Remy did a more suggestive version of thr Kuzko entering thing, showing off his clothing with a twirl and a long sip of his blue raspberry slushie. Meanwhile Roman was flipping out. He was talking way too fast for Remy to process, only getting words like "precious" "hot" "totally cool" and "Seafoam Babe" out of it. Remy liked that last one. Might be the inspiration of his next fashion line. Who knows. Remy smirked and conjured some glittery lipstick and eyeshadow of the same hue, then getting a mirror. He doesn't do anything half assed. However, Remy nearly messed up his lipstick when Roman literally blurted put the best idea EVAH
"WHAT IF WE DID LOGAN IN PASTEL BROWN, PATTON IN DARK GREEN, AND VIRGIL IN BRIGHT ORANGE!?"
FORGET THE MAKEUP THIS NEEDS TO HAPPEN, LIKE, ASAP!!! Remy finished up his lips quick, fast, and in a hurry before throwing everything in his hands behind him. The two of them huddled together for a game plan. They made a rough draft on paper for each of them and then slammed themselves face first in the extensive closet of Remy to get everyone's outfits together. Patton would probably feel weird about dark colors, Logan look like he's a paperboy from Newsies, And Virgil will HATE them. Oh, and we couldn't forget Deceit, so they planned an outfit entirely in pink for him. It's perfect.
The two of them leave Remy's room, on the hunt for whaichever boyfriend they can snag. Roman's nonstop giggling didn't help too much. Lucky for them, Patton and Virgil were baking cookies in the kitchen. Roman and Remy instantly put on their game face, acting innocent. This was going to be great. Roman lead in first.
"Hey, uh, guys? Remy and I need a huge favor from both of you lovelies~"
"Yeah, like, I need you two darling angels to model some outfits for me and allow me to take pictures for future reference."
Roman gave him a side glance that screamed "ooh pictures, nice addition~" and they fist bumped with their eyes. Metaphorically. That would be hecka painful. Patton shrugged, smiling, happy to comply. Virgil glanced over to the timer, not minding. Since Virgil knows that Roman loves to tease and prank him, Virgil went with Remy while Patton went with Roman. Roman gave Patton a few kisses to make him happy. He is a love bug. Remy also did leave an aqua print on Virgil's cheek.
On side Roman he had given Patton the dark green garments and waited for Patron to figure out what goes where. It wasn't too long before he had asked for help. Roman went in to see him helplessly tied in his attire. Roman sighed and squeezed his head out of the arm hole, but he couldn't be mad. He wasn't even close to mad. This was actually kind of adorable, but Patton felt bad for it.
"Love, no worries. Here, hand me your arm."
Roman guided Patton inside the garb. Then he stepped out since the rest was basically pants and shoes. See, they decided to go with a sort of forest gnome style and the "shirt"was more of a poncho which was also sort of a dress. The pants were just leggings stretching all the way down and his high boots laced up to fit over nearly his entire shin. He also had this cute little headband that on the right side had a little mushroom. Roman also had some face for him. Cute, dark green aesthetic forest child. Patton stepped out, giggling and twirling around.
"I'm like a forest princess!"
Roman liked that a lot better. Roman laughed and snapped some photos before Patton ran up to him, kissing him, and linking their hands together. That's when Roman remembered that he was dressed up like a king. Hooray for circumstances leading into killer pickup lines!
"The forest prince to my sun king~"
Patton giggled as Roman went for another peck on the nose. Then he broke their hands away to clap, cavetown music playing in the background. Roman bowed before Patton, extending a hand. Patton took it and the two of them began dancing together. Not exactly a waltz or slow Dance because of the music and because they both were being kinda snazzy jazzy, but it was still a moment to be treasured between the two of them. Roman was also recording the whole thing for Remy to see later. You never know when videos will come in handy! Meaning as inspiration.
MEANWHILE Remy was waiting outside the dressing room, listening to Virgil moan and groan about the light colors and the kinds of garbs while using his phone to record every last bit of it. This was priceless. Deceit and Roman were going to love this! Remy immediately stopped recording when he heard the curtain thrash open. He switched to camera and caught Virgil in all his bright glory with a few dozen photos from many angles. His angry pouty face was the best part of the entire thing. Such a mad look for an outfit so cheery~
"I hate this."
Virgil was wearing an orange blazer with just a pale orange oversized tank top underneath. He had an orange choker and orange gemstone earrings. He was wearing short shorts with it all, but not jeans or anything. Then he had long stockings going up to middle of his thighs. His shorts were small enough to leave a little bit of skin. His shoes were literally orange crocs. Remy couldn't pass up the opportunity to put Virgil in crocs.
"Awww, it's adorbs on you darling~ I love it."
Virgil rolled his eyes and Remy got some bright orange facepaint and asked Virgil to turn his face a bit. He began painting a slice of orange really tiny. Not like an orange piece, but like a vertical slice out of an orange. Then he had Virgil turn to the other side and he painted three orange dots that look like cartoon freckles. Then Remy stepped back and looked at him. Oh yeah, he definately is rocking the orange.
"Can I change now?"
Remy laughed out loud. He was going to ride out this oppritunity like a whore
"Oh no, darling. I need you to wear this until I get the entire fashion line on film, then I want a group photo. Trust me, darling, everyone will be as embarrassed as you when I'm done. Especially Dee~"
Virgil paused for a moment until smirking, allowing Remy to put some rhinestones on his fingernails. Apparently seeing Deceit in much more pain than him is better than changing right now and saving himself. That was something that Remy could always count on. Once Virgil was done, he needed doing some fun poses. Like, ironic meme loses. Then they took a ton of selfies and Remy sent all of it to Virgil. See? Isn't it better if you just do the stupid things your boyfriend wants you to do?
Remy and Roman met up again and had managed to convince Patton and Virgil to go hide away from Deceit and Logan so they wouldn't be ruined of the plan. Well, after getting their cookies out of the oven and giving them to them. Roman had decided to stay with them because... cookies. So now it is a solo journey for Remy our seek out the last two boyfriends. The avatar only needed two more elements to master before he could take down the fire lord.
Remy was looking for Logan before going to the logical place and go to his room. Remy knocked on the door and Logan opened up. He rose an eyebrow and then Remy held up the outfit. Logan looked at it and sighed, knowing exactly what Remy wanted. Remy normally asks for Logan to try on stuff. He's the most compliant and he takes a logical and scientific approach to asesthetic and color theory. Logan was actually intrigued by the new color palette. Logan always wears darker colors. The fact Remy was wearing brighter colors as well led Logan to a conclusion.
"I see that you wish for me to wear brighter hues attire. Is there a special reason or just a new fashion line."
Remy snickered and showed him all the photos that he has of literally everyone except Deceit. Logan actually laughed at how ridiculous Virgil looked in that bright orange. PAtton was actually kinda cute in the dark green forest pixie gnome princess outfit. Logan graciously took no time in putting on the clothes and coming back out, actually quite impressed with how well the very pale brown looked on him. It made his hair and eyes quite dark in comparison. Logan foxed his bow tie and put his input on the aesthetic.
"I must admit, though there is no necktie I am finding myself growing quite fond. The bright colors do bring my natural tones out more, bringing more attention to me. I am quite eststic to see how your little "photo shoot" will turn out."
Logan was wearing a fedora and a dark brown bow tie, the only dark article of clothing on his body other than his dress shoes. He also had light brown suspenders and kahkis, his short sleeved collared shirt a darker brown beige. A lighter tone suspenders on a darker shirt is a risky move, but Logan pulls it off. The collar was flicked up and Remy got some hair gel. He wanted to slick Logan's hair back under the fedora and put some rainbow tape on the center of his glasses, but that Logan refused on because it doesn't fit the color palette. But he did say yes to a fake mole on his cheek.
Then Remy took all the best photos, Logan even pretending to be snazzy with his fedora. Logan wanted to keep the outfit, so Remy allowed it. However, while Remy was taking selfies there was a knock on the door. Expecting it to be Roman or someone looking for him, Remy opened the door. Remy pressed his lips into a thin line when he saw a slightly angry Deceit in the doorway, crossing his arms. Logan sighed, pressing his glasses up to his own face. They have been caught before Remy could explain.
"You know I absolutely loathe fashion and this entire project. I would hate to be a part of it and I'm not mad at all that you made me the last one on your list to tackle before changing my color scheme."
Remy and Logan shared a look before they both smirked. Logan knew about the bright pink and glitter sequence. It was more embarrassing than Virgil's orange childish blazer outfit. Remy snapped and instantly the glittery pink was shown to Deceit. He looked at it and looked up at Remy with a clear "Are You fucking serious" face. Remy shoved it into his arms and Logan motioned to the restroom in his living quarters.
"You asked, sweetheart. Now you have to do it."
Deceit sighed and complied, gracefully striding to the bathroom with an elegant sway of his hips. He was going to try and make it look good, though it is so very obnoxiously pink. See, the outfit was a sequence shiny blazer and a bright pink heart shirt with sequence on the heart and bright pink neon pants. He has a bright pink hat and cane to match, a pink diamond on the top and an ace of hearts tucked under the ribbon. Then Remy had tons of makeup to use, and awesome nail polish, and stuff.
That's when Deceit stuck out the cane and had some jazz band music playing in the baground. There were suddenly disco lights in Logan's room and he clearly wasn't amused. Then deceit lit up the entire room with lights reflecting of the sequence, he was a literal disco ball! Remy was recording the whole thing while Deceit was blowing kisses at both him and Logan and doing a little performance. Then he leans the cane against a desk and takes Logan's hands, dipping him for a snake kiss. It's a French kiss, but since deceit had a forked tongue everyone calls a kiss from him a snake kiss. Remy laughed and kept the video rolling. Roman is going to love this!
Then Deceit looked up from a very flustered, red, and rebooting Logan with a sexy stare. Remy turns off the video and throws himself at Deceit, getting a snake kiss himself because he isn't greedy. He forgot all about his lipstick and the makeup he wanted to put on Dee. Oh, but Logan was more than happy to take plenty of photos and make teasing texts to the rest of the boyfriends, also sending pics of deceit's freaky Friday pink outfit to everyone.
Let's just say all the other boyfriends flooded into the room and started dancing and having a new fashion color palette rave.

Again, I know next to nothing about fashion and color theory. You can probably tell by the horrible dorky fashions and how awful they would actually look lol.
ALSO, PEOPLE, YOU LIKE WHATEVER COLORS YOU WANT AND WEAR WHATEVER YOU WANT. CLOTHES AND COLORS AND MAKEUP HAVE NO GENDER SND YOU DESERVE TO DO WHAT YOU WANT AND LIVE YOUR BEST LIFE!!!!
