STORYTIME!
"Roman, the fact you are withholding information on where you are taking me and what you're plans are is highly agitating and preposterous."
Roman snickered at his nerdy boyfriend. They've decided long ago that an alliance and a mutual understanding of one another would be the best of both worlds. It helped Thomas function better, love himself more, and be more productive both creatively and logically. However, Roman developed highly romantic feelings for Logan. Logan didn't know this yet. For being a super smart guy, he sure was dense. So Roman decided to serenade him with this giant plan he had set up. He was so lucky that Logan was oblivious to everything.
"Relax, Logan. Remember, we agreed that Thomas is more refreshed after taking a brain break. This is us taking a brain break from all work. I only need, like, ten minutes. Is that doable for you?"
Logan paused a moment. Damnit. He can't argue with a valid point. Roman had learned how to get his way with Logan, and this was proof that it worked. Logan sighed and let Roman lead him by the hand to a new place in the Imagination. Roman had set aside this wonderful little Forrest scene. There was a tree stump and a fallen log surrounded by beautiful flowers of all colors, ferns, and loads of butterflies and ladybugs. Roman led Logan to the log and had him sit down. Roman sat down on the tree stump and pulled out his ukulele. One of his favorite things that Thomas learned how to do next to act and sing: play an instrument.
"Roman, now that we are... here... can you please tell me what's happening?"
Roman shushed him by placing his finger over his own lips. Logan followed suit and Roman chuckled. He began plucking wt the chords, making sure the ukulele was in tune. He had rehearsed this song several times over with Virgil's help. The emo geek may not be his go to for fashion and confidence, but he does know how to make things perfect and point out all the little things he needs to correct. Roman, with a snap of his fingers, changed the attire of both men. Roman wore grey sweatpants and a pink shirt that had a rainbow with the words dream on floating above it. Logan was now in a comfortable navy blue sweater and black sweatpants. Logan was about to object and get frustrated, but Roman started playing music. One thing he learned about Logan is that he couldn't resist hearing a good ukulele, acoustic guitar, or orchestra. It's what he listens to while he studies.
"🎶I'll hold the door Please come in and just sit here for a while. This is my way of telling you I need you in my life. It's so cold without your touch. I've been dreaming way too much. Can we just turn this into reality? 'Cause I've been thinking 'bout you lately. Maybe you could save me from this crazy world we live in. Roman finished the first verse and chorus, letting his voice drag on and carry. He opened his eyes, which were closed while he focused not on harmonizing his ukulele with his voice. Logan was tapping his fingers against the tree log, infested in the lyrics. Logan had a thing for analyzing songs' lyrics and trying to figure out what they mean. Roman was riding on that fact and hoping that Logan would get a clue that this is his confession to him. Thank you to AJ Rafael for writing such a beautiful song.

Second verse and chorus down in the bag. Was Logan catching on? Logan was actually smiling a phantom smile. There was no time between this and the bridge. He needs to finish the song up and then wonder. Stay in the zone. Stay focused. Finish the performance.

Roman finished up dramatically with a few strums if his ukulele and he looked up, fixing his posture he didn't know was hunched over and he grinned at Logan. Did it click? He really hoped it clicked. Roman had been working super hard on this and wanted it to Ben perfect for Logan. Speaking of Logan, he wasn't saying anything. It killed him. Logan nodded, comprehending all of the thoughts running through that intelligently mind of his, and then he began giving Roman a standing ovation. Pride radiated off his cheeks in the form of a honeyglow. People always did tell Thomas he looked like Fix it Felix Junior...
"Outstanding performance, Roman. Is there a reason you chose that specific love song? It was wonderfully covered and I am positive I would have a preference to your version. It sounded like it had a lot of passion and background coming into it."
Is... is he really that dense? Denser than a harem anime protagonist? Denser than an object with a mass of 50000000000 and a volume of 0.05? Because that's a lot of density. Roman gave him that signature seriously look and Logan seemed genuinely perplexed. Did he really have to spell it out for him. Roman sighed an angry sigh and took Logan's hand in his own. He pulled Logan close to him and looked deep in his eyes. Wow, Logan looked really cute in casual clothes. He should wear them more often. Regardless, maybe he should put this in a language that Logan would understand.
"Logan... Make an inference. The evidence is I took you to a private place that looks pretty and sang you a Love Song, that you said yourself had a driving force That made me wanna sing it, to YOU. Make your educated guess."
Now Roman knew what it felt like to be the annoyed one. Is this what's Logan feels all the time? And Virgil sometimes? Wow, this sucked. It's so annoying. Roman watched the moment when Logan realized his mistake. His eyes flashed with a revelation and his face went entirely red. So red it made his sash jealous. Roman forgot all about his anger when Logan tarted stammering and freaking out, making literal Microsoft error noises and trying to compose himself. Roman didn't know physics, burn he knew that his glasses shouldn't fog up from blushing alone. Roman smirked when he could finally make out a single sentence from what Logan was rambling on about.
"ThisissosuddenandunexpectedIdon'tunderstandwhyyouwouldloveme?!I'mLogicandyou'reCrwativitythisnisuNheardof!EventhoughIfeelfondnessandaffectionforyouIneverwouldhaveguessed-"
That last bit was all that Roman needed to hear. Logan liked him back. Roman pressed his finger against Logan's lips, hushing him up. Roman just smiled warmly at him. The setting behind the twin morphed into a gorgeous night sky on the beachside. Cicadas played their song and the stars twinkled above them. The moon made a spotlight on the pair. It was a perfect representation of the feeling she that both men were experiencing, even though one of them loathed feelings.
"Am I allowed to kiss mi amor?"
More Microsoft error noises. So cute. The big bloosh was Roman's answer. Roman dipped Logan down in his arms and passionately kissed him. A happy ending to this wonderful tale of love and romance. We Could Happen morphed Into We Will Happen.

Guys I am so in love with this little story I made I actually feel proud for once oml. Maybe it's because it's late at night and I feel happy after going out with two of my bestest friends to hang at the mall. I'm in such a good mood y'all like what?
Make sure you understand others. Making sure that you are communicating with others correctly ensures healthy relationships. Confirm they understand what you truly mean.
