I love how I'm not even in Highschool and all of my friends have dated at least one person and already had their first kiss. I haven't had either of those... So I'm writing this to both convey my loneliness and make myself feel better about being forever alone. Also I'm at 19% battery at ten o'clock at night. And the writing style is really weird and different. Basically the italics is it's own story interrupted by another story in regular font.
STORYTIME!
Good morning. Deceit wakes up to an empty bed and an alarm ringing through his ears. Thomas was waking up now, wasn't he? That meant his brain had to wake up therefore he had to wake up. He set up, just staring st his own legs undernasth the blankets. He felt all sweaty and gross, his feat not even trying to stay under. Deceit ran a hand through his hair, sarcastically making a mental note at how pretty he was right now. This is why he's alone, isn't it? He's a sweaty lying mess of a snake that's nobody will ever love. That's all he'll ever be.
Good Morning. Deceit wakes up to an alarm and feels hi self being dragged down by a weight before he could even attempt at getting up and getting his normal attire on. He looked over his shoulder to see his boyfriend, Patton, holding him tightly. His legs are wrapped around his body, following suit with his arms. His glasses were off and his hair was messy, just like his own mop on his head. Deceit stifled a chuckle when he heard the most precious man in his life whine because he had to start the day.
"Nooooooooooooo don't get up! You're too warm and cozyyyyyyy."
He was so precious, wasn't he? Deceit turned around in Patton's grasp, feeling a double hug from both his arms and legs. Deceit watched Patton groggily open his eyelids to look up at him cutely, begging for just a little while longer. However, Thomas was awake. If Thomas was awake that meant they had to be awake or else there'd be serious consequences from Mama Logan later during the day. Five minutes was tempting, it's not like he wanted to do it or anything, but they had things to do and people to see. Deceit pressed a kiss onto Patton's nose before verbally confirming this thought to his lovely little boi.
"Rise and Shine, Baba, you look ready to tackle the day~"
Patton groaned with his low key and positive lie that he needed to tell to still be his character. He's Deceit, it's his job to tell lies and keep secrets. Also that nickname was in Arabic. It's pronounced /Beh-Bah\ and it means 'Daddy' according to google translate. It's just an adorable little thing Patton and he created to be affectionate with one another while at the same time confusing Roman because he thinks it's Spanish but it isn't Spanish. Deceit sat up and pulled Patton with him, holding his hand and staring at his boyfriend's face. The most beautiful work of art was right there beside him, and that's the truth.
Deceit got out of bed and went to his wardrobe, sorting through the black and the mundane purple only to spice It up with a single pair of yellow gloves. Your run of the mill villain aesthetic excluding the classic Disney villain lime green, he can leave that hue for his reptilian eye. Deceit put on his attire and looked at himself in the mirror. Just as he thought: Disgusting. Deceit scowled at himself and how tired he looked on the human side of his face. The bags under his eyes made Virgil's eyeshadow jealous and gave Gucci a run for their money. Now he had to brush his teeth and whatever, skipping breakfast like normal. He doesn't deserve breakfast. He deserves to be treated like garbage like he does every day. He deserves this.
Deceit face Patton a double squeeze on his hand, signaling that he needs to let him go so he can get dressed and get ready for the day. If Patton needs a few moment to rest his eyes, now is the perfect time to do so. Deceit didn't bother with his cloak today. He just wore a white undershirt with his purple vest and some khaki slacks he's borrowing from Patton. He decided to brighten up his aesthetic and go for an off brand human Bill Cipher kind of look. He ditched his yellow Dexter's Mom gloves a long time ago as well as that creepy bowler hat. Now he wears a top hat with a yellow ribbon. Yellow always was his favorite color.
He walked over to the dresser in front of the mirror. Deceit stared at himself with his messy hair, hatless, before he even bothered to grab the brush. There he is. That's him. But there's something different about him. He's happier, he's healthier, and he'd getting enough sleep that under his human eye isn't blacker than the parade. Deceit ran the shared brush through his hair a few times just to make it wavy and decent before he placed his top hat on his head. Deceit looked at himself again, focusing on his interspecies and heterochromic eyes. Both of them were filled with color, unlike the dull valueless hue it used to be.
Deceit turned around to see a big lump on the bed underneath the covers. How adorable, he hid himself under the covers. Deceit walked over, making tsk sounds with his mouth. He yanked the covers off his bohfeiend and couldn't help but snicker when Patton whined again, covering his eyes. He was blind as a mole without those glasses of his on and anybody in a five kilometer radius can tell. Patton was squinting his eyes from the light inside the room, that has shifted to daytime, as he sat up. Patton puffed out his cheeks.
"No fair. I don't wanna wake up. Can we go back to sleep? Pretty please?"
In the words of Logan, this was just too precious to process. Deceit just shook his head and Patton groaned like a child, finally standing up and waking to get his glasses and a new change of clothes. Deceit turned around to give him his privacy as he changed into his polo and kahkis. Patton decided to wear his cardigan normally today and he walked over to the dresser to brush his hair. Deceit stole the brush and ran it through Patton's hair for him. Patton didn't give a verbal reply, but the sunny smile reflecting in the mirror back at him was all he really needed. Once he finished brushing his hair, they could go make blueberry pancakes!
Deceit was tired. It wasn't even noon yet and he was ready to sleep. Maybe forever if he could. Is this what depression felt like? If he morphed into depression and became a new side, would the others take pity on him and love him as they've done Virgil? Deceit didn't know. He flopped on his bed and felt the tightness in his chest return. The Reprise for today, going to become a trilogy and a quartet throughout the day. It's hard not to cry when everyone hates you. It's hard not to cry when you got to keep any feelings a secret and you have to tell lie in every sentence you speak because that's what's Expected of you. Deceit laid down in his empty bed and turned on some calm Lo-Fi Beats, falling asleep yet again after he silently lets out more tears.
Deceit was tired, but in a good way. It was evening and he had went to his bedroom early. Patton was spending time with Virgil, who didn't really like Deceit all that much so he respected his boundaries. Deceit was smiling, more than he had ever before in his life. Since when was he so blessed? So blessed that twin out of three sides were starting to warm up to him. So blessed that he got a boyfriend who loves him and cares for him just as he is. Deceit laid down on his bed, taking off his vest and hat. He just stared at the ceiling glow in the dark star stickers Pwtton did put up there because he's afraid of the dark and be liked to sleep in here with Deceit more often than naught. Other times they go to his room and cuddle at night. One or the other, there is no in between.
Deceit was blessed and he knew it. He had someone to hold, someone to kiss, someone to treasure. The most important thing to him was that he had someone to wake up to. He had a reason to keep going and not clock out. He had a reason to smile every day and a reason not to sleep forever and ever, even when he isn't tired. He has someone to wake up for, and that's what matters the most.

For everyone that feels hopeless and alone: there is always a reason to wake up in the morning and get out of bed. Sure, things are rough and the challenges don't seem worth the effort, but trust me when I say that a good future is enough reason to work now. You want to be happy in the future. You want to be safe and secure. If you work now, the faster that happy ending will come. Even if it's something small or stupid like petting that stray dog on the way to the bus stop or because there's a cute stranger you normally pass by in the way to work/school, find a reason to wake up in the morning and get out of bed. Those reasons can save your life, because if you look forward to something you don't want to take it away. Internet hugs and blow kisses!
