I literally JUST thought of this on the spot after listening to that song above and I wanted to do something epic for once in a while so here's the epic shtuff
STORYTIME!
Roman was goin to the Imagination to go fight the dragon witch, as he always does when's he needs an ego booster. Her Cavern was deep in the imagination, past the forests of doubt and over the river of sexuality. It was a scary place for one of his status in the mind, however he was the great Prince Roman! No task is too troublesome for the gallant and glorious Prince! Roman netted the cave with confidence, but worry struck him when the Dragon Witch wasn't there, waiting for him to return nor napping like she normally does. Where did she go? Roman wants to be a hero and needs her assistance!
"Why Hello Roman~"
That voice, it wa beckoning and attractive. Attractive as in had a pull on him, but you could use the other definition of attractive to define it too. The voice was deep and suave. Roman turned around with his Silver Katana in hand to see Deceit, sitting on one of the rocks on the cafe with two snakes slithering up his arms: one a dangerously vibrant black and red and the other an ominous dark green. Deceit had a smug smirk of his own painted across his face. He had one leg crossed over the over and his eyes were daggers directly into his own. Roman couldn't look away. He was scared, but his need for a challenge and a need to be a hero overcame that fear. He's not scared of Deceit!
"Oh how terrible, your little friends the Dragon Witch has left your playtime. There's no need to worry, Roman. Since I loathe you so much I thought I could step in the place she willingly resigned from."
Roman didn't think twice about what he was saying or the words he was stressing. Deceit wants to fight him in place of the Dragon Witch, who left because she didn't want to do this anymore. He didn't need to be told twice. Besides, Deceit says he hates him! Of course that would be spark enough to begin an epic battle. Deceit chuckled as he watched Romans get intk stance for a battle of the sword. Deceit forgot how easy it was to sway Roman. Roman isn't just creativity, he's the ego. An ego needs to be fed, lies or not.
The truth? Deceit locked away the Dragon Witch so he could spend time with Roman. He is curious about him. Roman was more fun to manipulate than Patton, and he didn't want Patton to grow depressed because of him. Roman he can actually help positively unlike all the other sides. It's also fun to mess around with this boy. He believes everything he is told. Deceit hopped off his position and conjured and Emerald Green sword, his snakes disappearing under his cloak somehwere unknown. Deceit was going to play pretend today and that would be fun. Deceit waited for Roman to make the first move, since he was in a defensive stance to begin with. Or did Roman not know the fundamentals of Sword Fighting and just wung it the entire time? Wung is totally a word. Past Tense of Wing. "Winging It" to "Wung it". Obviously grammatically correct.
"Three... Two... One!"
Roman counted under his breath before taking his first charge towards Deceit. Deceit was already having a good time. Roman started out with your normal jab towards the abdomen, aimed for the side of the stomach. Deceit used his heavier, broader blade to deflect his slim katana. Roman shifted his weight and used it to bring his sword upwards in a slash, aiming for his chest to his shoulder at an angle. Deceit jumped back, barely missing the tip of his sword. Deceit laid back, letting Roman take over the offense. From what he knew, Roman normally fights in the imagination when he either needs to blow off steam or when he needs to feel better about himself. Deceit won't let him win~
Roman flipped his hands and rebalanced his stance to take a forward ferry towards Deceit. It was weak and easily blockable with his sword. Deceit was confused until he noticed his back foot sliding a bit backwards and his weight falling. Suddenly he pivoted and pushed his power forwards, lowering and levling his sword for a trust directly at Deceit's bellybutton. Ah, so that's how he likes to play. How amusing. Deceit grinned and fell to the floor on his back before giving a hearty laugh and springing back up again. Deceit's movements are very fluid and elegant, just like a snake's. Of course that's not foreshadowing in the slightest.
Roman took three steps back, taking a few breaths and resetting himself for another assault. Deceit's guess was that his fundimentality was that "Offense is the best Defense". Deceit waited, watching his every movement. Deceit wants to decipher his fighting style before doing anything. Roman is very light in his feet and uses light blade for quicker riposte. He has a vantage point over Deceit's heifer blade and more fluid fighting style. Roman hasn't managed to make any blows on Deceit yet. That's when Deceit looked down and notice he had been struck once. There was a cut across his chest, diagonal to the one he jumped out of the way from. Since he was a figment of imagination, there was no pain. The blood was just for show. When did that happen?! Deceit flared up at Roman, to see him smugly smirk before charging again.
Ferry, ferry, thrust, three back to back movements of the sword that Deceit was struggling to keep up with. Roman had a lot of stamina. Based on what Deceit has observed, his battles with the Dragon Witch are normally over by now. How does he still have this much fight left in him? Deceit flipped the switch, deciding that riding this out and simply playing a passive defense wasn't enough for him.
Deceit took a step to the side from Roman's onslaught, giving him a second to regroup and use his arms to derive power into the heavy blade and make his first slash, vertical and full of power. Roman barely had enough time to recognize what was happening and whips his sword around to block himself. Deceit could see the blade shake in his hand. It was too thin and brittle to face a heavy broadsword like Deceit's emerald one. Deceit smirked. Maybe it's Time to add the fantasy element into their little game of pretend. Deceit stepped back and held up his hand as a halt, allowing both Sanders Sides a much needed breather.
"You're a lot tougher than I expected, Deceit. I'm getting kind of tired! Heh... heh..."
Roman managed to puff out between breaths. Oh? He was already tired? The fun was just beginning. However, the compliment was nice. Deceit doesn't get many compliments. Normally everyone here in then mindspace hates him and would rather him leave. Here Roman was, complementing him and spending quality time with him. Well, if you can't fighting as quality time. Swordfighting Roman as fun and a new experience, but Deceit wasn't done yet. It's time to go full Disney villain mode.
"Oh Roman, it's not like I'm only swordfighting you. There's another boss in this Cavern you haven't faced yet."
Roman looked up at him, kind of scared. Roman didn't think he could take on another opponent in a duel. Monsters and beasts are much easier to take down. You can find their weak point and lodge your sword into them and you're done. Great thing about the Dragon Witch is that she changes her body every time to put her vantage point somewhere else. It keeps changing every time. Roman watched in horror as Deceit started mutating. His skin became entire yellow and his body was growing. His arms dissolved into his sides and his clothes were suddenly gone. He was a giant, bright yellow snake in a matter of seconds. He had two fangs dripping with green poison and a tail with spikes on the end. Roman felt the blood in his body grow cold. He forgot that the Sanders Sides have the ability to shapeshift. Deceit laughed at him. How adorable. It's like Aladdin when seeing Jafar as a snake for the first time. Deceit watched as he gripped his sword tightly, the blade trembling with his hands. How adorable~
Roman jerked out of the way when Deceit snapped forward, launching his jaw wide out for Roman. Was he trying to eat him!? Roman Elton the adrenaline and nervousness in his body spike. He rushed forward, aiming for Deceit's eyeball to try and blind him with his sword. Deceit was able to lift his head up before that unfortunate fate could befall him. Deceit brought his tail around and smacked Roman into the wall, careful not to impale him and ruin their little game. Deceit swayed from left to right, starting to have fun. It was fun being the monster sometimes. However Deceit knew if he wanted to achieve his actual goal he'd need to lighten up. Maybe let Roman "slay" the serpent of the Ghastly Cove. Roman got up, shaking and feeling his muscles go weak. Would this be his first defeat? Roman felt his self esteem constrict drastically. However, he can't give up! He has to be the hero! Good always triumphs in the end! He got up, and lunged forward.
Deceit purposefully missed with his tail and got the spikes in it stuck in the ground. Deceit "struggled" to pull his tail out of the ground as Roman ran up his spineless cord of a body to the nape of his neck. Deceit couldn't see him anymore and "panicked", thrashing his head around desperately. Deceit could feel the sword dig deep into his scales skin, however there was no pain. This was part of playing pretend, wasn't it? Oopsie Daisy, guess it's time to die. Deceit let out a horrid shriek and fell face forward into the stone, coiling over himself. Roman removed his sword and hopped off the snake of a man gallantly. He did it! Roman finally won! That meant it was time to boast about it, right? Validate his feelings of victory and rejoice.
"Ha ha! I, the Undefeatable and Charming Prince Roman has conquered yet another foe! Fall before me, man of snakes!"
Roman declared his victory before the world, smiling something to give Patton a run for his money. Deceit reformed himself back as a humanoid and silently rose to his feet. He could attack from behind, but Deceit had a much better plan. Deceit took Roman from behind, covering his mouth with one hand and the other arm secure around his torso. Deceit turned him around quickly once he was pulled close enough to Deceit's body and he pressed a long, tender kiss onto his lips. He would never want to do something like this~ Deceit pulled away and watched Roman's eyes flutter open with surprise and yet at the same time, a dopey joy shining through them. Heh, too adorable~
"Let's keep our little rendezvous a secret. If you come back, I'll be forced to fight you yet again~"
With a flick of his forked tongue and a snap of his fingers, he disappeared. Deceit sunk down to return to his room and think about what's just hapoened. He was fanboying internally. He got to play pretend with Roman, he got to kiss him and everything! Deceit didn't feel like a villain, he felt like the unsung antihero everyone deserved. He felt more like a prince himself than anything!
Deceit did play as his name depicted his nature to be: he lied. He didn't want their little game to be a secret. Deceit wanted all the sides to know that he kissed Roman. He wants them to back off because Deceit has wanted Roman to be his for a while now. He didn't want to fight Roman. What he really wanted was a date, quality time, and to spoil the egotistical brat of an adorable man. He wanted to pamper him and do everything he could with Roman's consent. However, as in his name, Deceit must lie. So he forged his words in a way to beckon Roman back to him, sort of like a Siren's Spell. Oh, there was one last thing Deceit was forgetting to do before the oneshot ends.
With a snap of Deceit's fingers, the Dragon Witch was released from her cage.

I had to stop writing before school. I will draw some fanart of whatever you want if you can guess correctly where I stopped before school. Just a fun challenge.
I'm in a very bad mood myself so my advice for today is to just let yourself be anything you want to. Just do it. Don't let your dreams be dreams. Yes you can. JUST DO IT!!!
