STORYTIME!
Fun fact: Deceit can play piano. Thomas doesn't know how to play the piano, he plays ukulele. But like how Logan knows Simoleon and Roman knows Spanish, Deceit also has something of his own. His thing was Piano. Deceit had a grand piano in the mindspace, so he conjure it wherever he was. Right now it was late at night. The mind was restless, Thomas couldn't sleep. Thanks Remy for leaving us all to be alone and restless. Deceit sighed and pulled out his piano in the center of the living room, where Thomas normally stood. He pressed a few keys on the piano, making sure it was tuned. Deceit summoned sheet music to a song he had personally listened to recently. Believe it or not, Deceit was a huge fan of Thomas's friend Dodie. Her music really spoke to him on an emotional level. It was no surprise that the lovely sick of losing soulmates was the song he was preparing to play.
Apparently Deceit had called his two boyfriend with his little piano. Virgil held his Ukulele in hand and Patton held his free hand. Patton was grinning and Virgil rolled his eyes when he ran over to the piano and hoisted himself ontop of it, sitting on the piano. Virgil sat down next to Deceit on the bench, facing the other way so he doesn't get in the slimy boi's way when he was eventually going to play some music for the mind to shut down and relax. Virgil strummed w few chords, making sure his instrument is also tuned. Virgil glanced at Patron, who gave him a thumbs up. Then he glanced at Deceit, who nodded. Deceit closed his eyes and took a deep breath before looking over the sheet music. The sheet music was all in vain. He knew what notes to play by heart. The song began, there was a wait before any lyrics began. Patton then used his sweet singing voice to lure the entire mind in with his lullaby.
"🎶What a strange being you are, God knows where I would be If you hadn't found me, sitting all alone in the dark. A dumb screenshot of youth, Watch how a cold broken teen Will desperately lean on a superglued human of proof.🎶"
Deceit had his eyes closed, playing his beautiful instrument along with Virgil's ukulele and Patton's sweet voice. Patton, if he really wanted to, could probably team up with Roman and plan on doing a cover of this in the YouTube channel. Of course, they would have to reach out to Dodie for premission first. Deceit noticed his cape was being tugged on a little bit. Virgil was tapping his foot against the ground, and he accidentally sat ontop of a corner of Deceit's cloak. He ignored it and kept playing the piano. The next lyrics, Virgil and Deceit had to echo Patton. The two were ready.
"🎶What the hell would I be, without you Brave face talk so lightly, hide the truth.🎶"
Patton was still smiling, singing out to the mindspace. Deceit opened his eye when he felt a pair of eyes on his back. Logan. Deceit glanced out of the corner of his eye to see him standing there, holding an empty mug he assumed was previously filled with coffe. Logan isn't staying up late with Roman to work on anything tonight. Thomas needs sleep, and that's not a lie. Deceit quietly chuckled to himself, not faltering out of dong even the slightest bit. Sorry Logan, you're not drinking any more of that bitter brown drink. Another Fact: Deceit is appalled by coffee. It's just disgusting to him.
"🎶 'Cause I'm sick of losing soulmates, so where do we begin? I can finally see, you're as fucked up as me So how do we win? Yeah, I'm sick of losing soulmates, won't be alone again... I can finally see, you're as fucked up as me So how do we win?🎶"
Suddenly Virgil broke off chord and Patton gasped. Everything broke. Deceit hovered his hands over the keys, opening his eyes and raising his eyebrow. Deceit spun around, his cape being held up by Virgil's profound posterior. Logan was still there, but so was Remy. Remy was sipping on some Starbucks drink. Hopefully it wasn't coffee or this might was going to be even longer. Virgil stood up and had his ukulele transported to his room. Patton hopped off the Piano. Deceit sighed and un-summoned the grande piano. He felt Virgil's hand slither it's way into his own. Deceit couldn't help but smile. He couldn't hide it. Then Patton skipped over to the other side of Deceit and hugged his arm. Deceit felt loved and included. It was absolutely amazing. Everyone was here, except for Roman who was probably getting his "beauty rest" that he doesn't even need because his appearance is reflected off of Thomas. Everyone was waiting for an explanation out of the man who is SUPPOSED to be in charge of Thomas's sleep. Remy just carelessly sipped on his drink, not caring. Logan took the iniative do coeared his throat.
"Remy, pray tell, where have you been?"
Remy took his cup and had it poof away dramatically in a pink cotton candy cloud. Deceit used to date Remy before being included in Virgil and Patton's relationship. He can be kind of a brat when he really wants to. Knowing Remy he probably went to something like a giant rave or a house party or back again to that gay bar he dragged Deceit into that one time. Remy flicked his glasses up and looked gay into Logan's eyes, because heaven knows he can't do anything straight.
"Jeez Mom, didn't know I have to have your premission to go out on the town. I'll make sure to remember that one next time."
Ah sarcasm, Deceit's favorite thing ever. But not when he wants to rest but he can't because Patton is worried sick about Remy and Virgil is anxious about Thomas not getting enough sleep to function properly and get a bunch of crap done tomorrow. Logan just pointed towards the stairs, used to being called 'Mom' ironically by Remy now. He sighed and marched up the stairs to his room.
Finally, everyone can rest easily.

Everyone should rest when they need it. Sometimes you need to have unproductive days just for yourself so you can recharge. That's just how life works and how we all work as human beings. Accept it and Embrace it. Treat Yo Self.
