STORYTIME!!!
Logan was curious on human emotions and why they work. Specifically, Love. Love is such a strange concept that humans use to find a partner to either procreate with it to just give them more pleasant hormonal chemical reactions in their brain. It was odd how humans could only choose specific people and it takes time for these bonds to grow. That just seems so.... uninstinctual. It's was odd. So Logan, being a Warlcok (not a witch hush you) decided to try and experiment on the essence of human attraction. It was good that he had a human living with him after "befriending" (saving from a vicious beast they idiotically tried to fight with nothing but an iron sword) him. The human wanted to repay him for saving him, pretending to be a valiant warrior. Logan found the human amusing so he asked that he live here now. Company helps the hormone for happiness in Warlocks and Witches be made. There's the exposition of the plot and I'm sticking to it.
"Roman, would you do me a favor?"
The brunette boy with a princely outfit and red sash popped his head around the doorframe, seeing what Logan was holding in his hand. It was a magical elixir that he was going's ti drink himself in hopes he could understand human emotion. If he felt all the same things, maybe he could understand humans better and further his knowledge and fascination with them. He feared he may have extracted too much Love into it and it was just a love potion, but you may never know. Logan does have an antidote just in case it goes a little bit too far. Roman walked into the room and stood before him. Good obedient little human. Cute little human. Wait. What?! Forget that thought ever crossed Logan's mind.
"I need you to test this Elixr. If it succeeds, nothing will happen to you. However if it fails you will face some mild emotional turmoil. Nothing too drastic."
He thought he should add that into Roman's consideration, seeing how last time he had Roman test a potion for him without explaining any possible side effects he turn into a Cocitrice that spat fire. Logan almost turned to stone and Roman almost permenantly became a half-gorgon half-chicken. Roman rose an eyebrow and looked at the liquid. He took the flash and sniffed it. Logan added a strawberry and raspberry scent, knowing that they were Roman's favorite berries, just to coax him into drinking it. Roman took the flask up to his lips and took a large swig. If it worked, nothing would happen. If it failed, Roman would most likely fall madly in love with him.
Why was Logan hoping he messed up?
Roman put down the flask and just stood there's fir a moment, building up suspense and dramatic tension. Sure, Roman as a very melodramatic person, but the suspense was killing Logan inside. Everything seemed normal until suddenly Roman gripped his heart and was brought down to his knees. His fringe fell over his face and he squeezed his eyes shut. He let out a groan dripping with pain. What!? Logan used no ingredients that induce pain whatsoever! Logan fell to his knees, dying to push Roman's shoulders up so he can support his weight again. Logan had a spike of adrenaline burst through his veins and he didn't care that his glasses were slipping off the bridge of his nose.
"Roman!? Roman!!! Come on lift your head up! Tell me you're okay!"
Logan was freaking out, but let's go to Roman's perspective. Roman didn't feel pain. Well, it wasn't a painful pain. It was more like pleasurable pain. You know, like a total masochist would feel. His hesrrt then felt entirely warm and his full body went warm and heavy, slowly turning light. There was a consistent fluttering in his chest. He half felt like gravity was pulling him down and half felt like he defeated yet another dragon and earned a kiss on the cheek from a princess. Or a cute prince. He much prefers kisses from cute princes. He heard Logan's voice in his ears and suddenly all the blood in his veins spiked up. That angelic voice. That suave, compelling voice. Roman lifted his head, revealing his eyes to be a bright pink and his pupils hot pink hearts, growing at the sight of Logan. Oh yeah. He was in Love. Roman smirked like the godly prince he was, placing his hand underneath Logan's chin and rubbing his bottom lip with his thumb. He bit his own lip, resisting the urge to kiss that Warlock until his lips turned his own favorite color.
"I'm alright, handsome. But I would be even more Alright if I could get you in my bed~."
Logan was conflicted. That was lust, not love. Either way worked for Logan however. Logan looked over to see the flask on the counter just above the two boys on the ground. How Logan got in between Roman's legs in that stereotypical position everybody knows is beyond logic. Pun intended. Logan smirked at his own plan and took the flask and chugged the rest. Since he was a magical being, he didn't have the same intense reaction as Roman. However his chest did grow warm and he felt his face heating up. Logan placed his hand on the side of Roman's face, feeling the sexual tension between the two and wanting to end it right here and now, bed or not. Lust was such a funny emotion, was it not?
"The floor sounds perfect to me, Mi príncipe caliente~."
Back to Roman's perspective because why not? I need a larger word count! Roman knew Spanish front and back, so he knew exactly what Logan just said. Roman chuckled and pried the other boy off him reluctantly. He confused Logan until he picked Logan up bridal style. He still had his memories and thoughts, so it's not like he didn't know where the bedroom was. He pressed a kiss on his forehead, laced with both warm love and desire. That potion was a LOVE potion. Lust was just a temporary side effect!
"Well I'd prefer the bed, Ma Fleur~."
Logan Elton his face go entirely red. Did he just call him his flower in French? Whatever. Logan could focus on the wide range of human emotions later. Now he was going to learn all about a human's world~
